MONEYBALL
The movie is an adaptation of the book Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game by Michael Lewis, a non-fiction telling of the story of Billy Beane as he puts together the Oakland A’s baseball team on a limited budget.
Brad Pitt will star as the lead character, Billy, with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robin Wright amongst the big stars already signed-up for the film. Kathryn is being earmarked for the role of the Mrs Beane, Billy’s second wife.
Filming starts today (12 July 2010) and is due for release next year (2011).
As an aside it would appear that since leaving the WME agency in April Kathryn has signed with The Gersh Agency. Hopefully the move will lead to more roles.
