[PRP] Private roleplay between Thibault (Eftemie), Shayan (bpyan), and Hasani (la mort noire) Setting: Old Ciphar Ruins
___________________ Thibault walked into the ruins. It had been said to be where the first city began. If so, it was years upon years ago. Glancing about him as he walked forwards past the decaying buildings, he noted that once they might have been exceptionally beautiful. Some of the wood and stone still whispered of its former glory though little could be seen of that now. It was beautiful, silent, and eerie. He liked it. Idle curiousity was not all that brought him there. He wanted to see the cemetery, to put some sort of perspective on the things he was being taught. It had come to him that seeing the buildings of what once was and the tombstones of those who once were, he might begin to figure out what it was he should see. That is what it came down to. Thibault felt as if he were missing a piece of the puzzle that had been presented to him. The path was overgrown with weeds and they tangled his feet from time to time. He could have used a dagger on the plants but instead left it on his hip. Kicking them off every now and again, Thi kept his feet free as he continued moving. He was not looking for anything in particular when he found the gate leading in. It was already open. Rows of old stones carved with various names and information rose up before him. Moving between them, he glanced about finding those that seemed the most interesting. Walking over he would stand and stare at them a few moments, then trace a portion of the design as if to memorize it. Then he moved to the next wondering if their spirits were here or just their corpses. Overall, it was a very compelling place to be with its overgrown ivys, scattered blossoms dropped in front by someone paying their respects, and the stones standing like silent sentinels. Finally, Thi sat down on an old stone bench seated against the one portion of stone wall still standing. His back against it, he thought about the names he had recognized. Briefly he wondered if the descendents of those people were still around. It was then he noticed some movement. Leaning back, he just watched.

With swift but lazy steps, Shayan made his way deeper to the forest. Despite the sun that hung brightly above he felt strangely cold as he walked aimlessly into the tall grass, not bothering to really know where he was at the moment.
But dear god, these weeds were annoying. He pulled out his curved dagger from it's place, immediately holding it in front of him and swinging it towards the tall grass that hindered his way. With a clean swipe they fell to the dirt ground, a smirk formed on the young man's face. But then the smirk disappeared as he tilted his head higher, the remnants of buildings towered over him with all their glory and grandeur. The Persan was strangely fascinated by them, walking slowly and placing the dagger back on his holder he touched the cold concrete with his slender fingers.
Ugh, this was stupid, they were just old buildings that were left abandoned and forgotten with time.
...Just like him.
He started to walk away, using the cracked pathway as his guide towards whatever. He wanted to explore the whole of Ciphar, all its nooks and crannies... he wanted to see every part of this 'paradise'.
Shayan stopped abruptly, his feet standing firm on the jagged rocks. He was met with rows of gray stones lined up with each other, with brief words that tried to sum up the life of the deceased. The names seemed to jump out at him as if demanding him to remember them. He blinked , such an eerie scene for anyone else, but he was unaffected by all this. But what did make him stop was an unfamiliar silhouette that was close by. He did not expect anyone to be here at this time of day. Shayan knew that it was obvious that his presence was known to the other. Unless, he was blind or deaf... maybe it was a dead body. Hm, how fitting if it were the latter.
Now with light and quiet steps he hid himself behind the cracked walls and pillars, his eyes focused on the other, trying to get a better look.

It had never been advised to sleep in high places.
Which was probably why, now of all times, Hasani had gone against that rule of thumb. The tree was old and strong, but somehow eerily well placed among the ruins. Its roots ran deep, sinking its base into the edge of a graveyard that stretched on for as far as the Persan could see. Though, the Persan wasn't looking just then. Half on his side, curled into one of the crooks of a higher, sturdier branch, the cat-like sacrifice slept. His chest rose and fell steadily, and the still figure was covered in shade and branches. Enough to go undiscovered for some time. Unless one looked up, unless one peered closely, the Persan was invisible. Barely on the edge of waking, Hasani sighed, wondering just how long he'd been out. Dazed and clawing his way out of his subconscious, the eighteen year old shifted over and rolled a bit.
It was a bit funny when gravity seemed to take a drastic change.
Hasani's eyes snapped open, and his entire body tensed as he left the haven of the branch without meaning to. "" Yelling wasn't going to do him any good. Hasani twisted a bit, and gave another loud howl when he noticed that there was a rather large, gnarled looking branch underneath him. His middle hit hard, and Hasani bit his lip, rigid before loosening and groaning. At least he hadn't fallen all the way to the ground. Stars popped behind his eyelids as pain and a fresh bruise worked its way through his middle. Who was stupid enough to sleep in a tree, and even more so to fall out of it? Propping himself up, Hasani settled cross-legged on the branch, one hand tentative against his middle as he groaned. It hurt so good though, like a fresh punch. Hasani let out a hyena like cackle at the thought and stared down at his surroundings.
He felt his skin prickle at the presence of others. From his perch in the old, eerily silent tree, he could see a myriad of gravestones, and beyond it, the ruins of Ciphar. But what caught his attention were two figures, both standing out against the quiet, beautiful backdrop. One sat on an old stone bench, the other... Hasani's eyes narrowed. The other he knew. He watched as the silver haired boy slipped behind cracked walls and pillars, and contemplated his own actions. He could stay and sleep. Or he could drop down and talk. The lazy side of his mind said forget them. So Hasani wondered just what he was thinking when he dropped to the ground silently, like a predator approaching its prey. His shamshir hung loose at his side, and with ease, Hasani moved close, first targeting the boy - Shayan, he reminded himself - that he was acquainted with.
Close enough now, he wrapped one arm around the shorter boys shoulder, another descending over the half-blind boy's eyes. "Hmm, whatever do we have here." He purred, but his eyes were glancing towards the obscured figure on the bench. "You should go introduce yourself, boy, its not polite to eavesdrop."
The eighteen year old laughed, because in situations like these, it was the best thing to do.

Thibault simply watched the first as he approached, slipping around the walls and stones. What did he think he was doing? Sneaking up on him? He had sat down on the bench with his back against the wall there for a reason. Living on the streets had taught him that much after a couple of run-ins with those older than he. One never got caught without a way out and one never left their back exposed.
The yell and thud as well as slight cackle caught his attention even as he saw the movement in the tree. His eyes left the first young man and settled in the branches. He watched the second drop out of the tree and then join the first. It was certain the second would startle the first from his stealth. Thi had never seen either. Then the silver hair caused his eyes to narrow in thought. Or had he?
Oddly he had not noticed anyone in that tree when he entered, but then he had not looked up either. His lips twitched. He would have to remind himself to look up more often. A vantage point like that could be used to one's well to see what was going on. He would also remember that it was easy to fall out of one also so more caution would have to be taken.
For a moment he continued frowning, but then he realized he might have seen both around the swordsman training area. Or not. There were so many more people here than he had suspected upon first arriving. If he had seen them, it was in passing. His eyes watched them a moment, just studying them- at least what he could see of them. They were partially hidden but he got the impression they were both a bit older than he was.
"You know, it is very hard to sneak up on a person when they are watching you do so." he said just loud enough that he knew they would hear him. "You and your friend might as well join me since we all find ourselves here together."

Shayan was (pleasantly?) surprised when a familiar voice entered his ears. Instantly a grin appeared on his face as a strong arm wrapped around him, the warm breath of the other in his light locks. Of course, this person was Hasani, the boy he had met not too long ago. Ahh that fateful encounter.
He brushed the boy's arm off his shoulders and turned around to see the boy in better view. The light-haired Persan smirked as he brought his face just inches away from the other, tilting his head up to meet his gaze. "Why Hasani, stalking me? Why I'm flattered." he said in a teasing voice.
Noting the dirty appearance of the other it seemed that he was in the woods longer than himself as there were remnants of the bark and a newly opened wound that left a red stain on the others uniform. Curious, he backed away and cocked his brow, "You look like you were in a fight with a tree or something. How charming." he could not help but pick out a lone leaf that was lying on top of Hasani's shoulder as he chuckled. Shayan crossed his arms at the taller boys statement. "I was merely observing from afar. But well, I suppose it would be polite to introduce myself, hm?" He was perhaps not the most quiet and sneaky in technique but that didn't matter to him, he always liked face-to-face confrontations anyhow.
He started towards the source of the other voice, walking in long strides and noisy steps. It was a live person after all. "Yes, yes of course! Do forgive my rudeness!" He went out to the clearing of the rows of tombstone, not attempting to have any sort of respect for the serene place he was in at the moment. Shayan breezed through the tombstones, stepping on some of the huge stones that marked their dates and names as to reach the other boy faster. Jumping from one of the higher ones he landed perfectly in front of the stranger, putting one hand to his chest as a wide grin was on his face.
"Shayan. Pleased to meet you." Shayan took note of the others appearance, he seemed to hail from a place he had never been to as his features were so different from what he was used to. Then again, he had a lot of firsts in this island.
