That child goes about life in an ordinary way...for now
That child has a way of life...
Siibuna was a lively, outgoing woman for the most part, laid back and cool in her demeanor. However, much to the dislike of others, she was very opinionated and blunt. She was never the loud one in a group, nor the attention seeker, but the questions she often posed were the light of the conversations. She enjoyed the simple things in life, such as her Walk-man, her vast music collection and the many history books she had acquired over her lifetime.
And the child has a past, present, future...
Born to a modest family, Siibuna was an only child. Her mother was a veterinarian at the clinic in northern Cordon and her father had to scrape by at the farmers market down the street from their home. But, they made due with what they had and spoiled Siibuna when they could, giving her a wonderful opportunity to go to college.
She was a quiet child, not much for theatrics or the drama that high school brought most teenagers. In her sophomore year her parents finally had gotten approved to leave Cordon for a vacation, and she had been taken along with. While they were out of the big city, they had unknowingly encountered a town full of the Meld Virus. Early on their final approved vacation day Siibuna fell ill from its effect on children, sending her parents into a panic.
They rushed back to Cordon, but not before encountering a strange wild dog. Among the unfamiliar features even her mother could not identify, the animal had an uncanny temperament. Not only did it not attack them, but it actually walked straight up to them. They trekked on, taking this seemingly wonderful, if not abnormal, dog with them back to Cordon.
Siibuna was confined to her room on the grounds that she was sick. As the night drew on for her, changes began to effect her physically. Her parents too, began to change in the night, all of them becoming just like their new pet. By dawn, the house was no longer full of humans, but a pack of strange Melds. Completely changed, they were all now a part of the same problem.
However, this unfortunate turn of events inspired Sii to become a scientist. In her early 25th year, she finished college, obtaining her PhD in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology. Her goal was to find out the cause of the Meld Virus and isolate its airborne make-up and create an adverse compound to counteract the effect. Thus she's where she is at today, in the labs of Dyna Corps., attempting to do just that.
