Kaori looked at him, studied him, "Shard. I need to know why you did it. Why didnt you take responsibility for it?!" Kaori whispered.
Kika slowly took out her bow as Casey looked at Kita and loaded a single arrow, she pulled her arm back and aimed.
Merrill squints, it's something important, I just can't figure out what.. she peeks over at Eon and then at Casey.

((holy crap look at the dates..))
Shard looked away with a pained look. "I was afraid," he finally said. "Of..everything. The consequences."
Casey turned suddenly to Kika. "Fire," he dared her, his eyes narrowed. "Do it."
Eon looks to Casey with dead eyes. He knows what's going to happen, but, as always, he's silent.
Kita glances between Casey and Kika, a bit torn between revenge and curiosity.

"What about me?" She replied coldly, "I had no where to go. Nobody to lean on." She touched his cheek lightly, and looked into his eyes. "Shard, the consequences are far worse now."
Kika inhaled deeply, swallowed and fired her arrow. She muttered a swear and stared straight ahead.
Merrill bites her lip and grabs Eon by his arm. "Why are you so afraid of him? Eon, we have each other. That should be all that matters to you." She swallowed and hoped he couldn't see the tears on her cheek.

Shard refused to meet her gaze, his own wandering to the ground. "...I know, and I'm sorry.."
Casey's cold grin was the last thing Kika saw before he exploded into a cloud of smoke, the arrow going through him and embedding into the wall. The smoke swirled for a moment then swept outside and was gone. A dark chuckle could be heard before that faded away.
And just like that, Eon's eyes cleared and focused on Merrill. He had a growing headache and he winced against the sudden pain. He blinked. "..Why are you crying?"

Kaori shook her head, "You can't even look at me." She told him "I'll be waiting for when you can, Shard." And with that she walked away.
Kika squeezed her hands into fists, "For frig sake!" She screamed. She then remember Martii was there and calmed down. "I'm...I'm sorry guys." She said lowly and walked away, bow in hand.
"Eon. I'm crying because you wont tell me anything!" She wiped away the tears with the back of her hand.

Shard watched as Kaori left, his shoulders slumping as he tried to think of something, anything, that would get her to stay. To wait and let him explain. But nothing came to mind.
Kita sighed. "Look, we need to get back to town. We can regroup and decide what to do from there.
Eon looked from Merrill to Kita and back again. "Look, I'll explain when we get back."

Kita walked down the path towards town, she was breathing heavily and her eyes where squinted in concentration. Even years later Casey still knew her every move. She shook her head and continued.
Merrill nodded, "Okay." She said giving up. Merrill saw Kaori leave and decided to follow her. "Kaori? What is it?" She asked seeing her sitting on a rock.
Kaori looked up at Merrill, her pink hair was in knots and her face stained with tears. "Shard.." She took a deep breath, "We got in a fight, and I don't know if I can forgive him." She breathed heavily.
