Man!! That's a really hard choise. Neither are my favourites. I have more Nightmare stuff......But I like The GazettE a lot too. Imma vote for Nightmare.

The GazettE! Nightmare is just.... uurgghh, i'm not picky when it comes to J-rock but I never really liked them :/

Thats a tough one... The GazettE in my oppinion is the Sexier and more original-sounding of the two bands... Then again, Nightmare did do The WORLD, the intro to my favorate anime ever and the song that got me hooked on Visual Kei. All things concidered though... The GazettE is just technicaly and asteticly the better band. Because come on, any band with two men as hawt as Ruki and Reita has to be better, right? razz heart

Nightmare of couse, the band the hook me with with Visual Kei music. GazettE is still an awesome band. ^^

You people got hooked on VK through Nightmare? Don't even tell me. Your DeathNote fans.
As a Visual Kei fan "old timer" I'd say The GazettE.
Their band in general is more unique sounding and higher quality then Nightmare, though I do like both.
The GazettE also has better sales, fans, followers on Twitter, etc.

The vote is obvious. If you don't get it, look to your left screen. Yup, thats my avi, thats my name. If you still don't get it, you probably aren't that much of a VK fan.
The GazettE due to the fact their music is just plain better. The lyrics are beutiful, Pvs match well, instruments flow together.
Just because something is POPULAR, don't hate on it!

I like Nightmare quite a lot but GazettE has been my all time favorite J-rock band. Besides RUKI has an AMAZING AND SEXY voice (and incredible lyrics).
PS: the bass player Reita and golden fingers Aoi are just too 4laugh
