Sullivan was found dead in his home on December 28, 2009.[1] His death was reported as due to natural causes. The results of the autopsy performed on December 30, 2009, however, were inconclusive.[1] It was not until June 9, 2010 that the cause of death was revealed to have been an acute polydrug intoxication due to combined effects of oxycodone (OxyContin), oxymorphone (a metabolite of oxycodone), diazepam (Valium), nordiazepam (a metabmolization of diazepam) and ethanol.[8]

I know that this is something no one wants to hear, but I have realized that many people have been questioning Rev's death, and this is how he passed on. this post is not to upset anyone of the sort. but I figured that fans of our favorite fallen drummer should know, and like I said, I am sorry about this news.
