Alright. For my first lesson: No autorolling/autohitting. Thats fine and all when you're mucking about OOC, but let me see you do that in my ring and it's game over for you. First up, let me see each of y'all give me an example of both a good and bad actiony RP post.

Trobly was the usual tril, you know, laying under briges and the whatnot. karrying around with him a woden club that would cause objects to xploe because, you know wood KKKLUBS can make things xplod. teh klub could at times brek 3 wals, but never teh forth on. You all got it wrong. He means dont make it so when your "Character" attacks, it makes a automatic hit.
Bad:
Dan swings his sword in a wide arc, decapitating Becca before she has a chance to respond.
Good:
Dan swings his sword in a wide arc, aiming for the neck in hopes that Becca won't be able to respond quick enough.
Or am i just a complete idiot?

Kat lunged at Kiki. Kiki jumped out of the way and swung at Kat. Kat doged and jump attacked Kiki his blade hitting her shoulder.

(oh yeah, i don't think im really here to learn, more of just to teach what i learned. i'm experienced like that... but then again there's nothing you cant learn... )
is'nt it like controlling the whole RP? making it like you are the main character without consulting with others including the creator of the RP? that would be what i think it would be...lol?
heres my example:
good: ralph winced at the pain as the blade had pierced his left arm. (from when i would accept the blow as part of the storyline.) He could feel the pain fusing with his anger, as he had gripped his katana with his right hand. "RAAAA!" Ralph yelled outwards while swinging his sword outwards with rage.
b@d: Chad sent out Mewtwo who controlled everything and is invincible. mwahahahah he said as Mewtwo killed all with hyper beam, not missing.
other person in the Rp: But this is a pirate RP, not Pokemon!!
you have to make sure what you do and use works with the time and place. the creator of the RP should specify the type of reality, (i.e. fantasy, real life, that one time pirates existed and rocked biggrin ) if not, ask.
