With a quick breath he spoke firmly as he stood before her "I am but a humble cleric of Pelor and you are?" Aust's retort was quick as he mentally prepared himself in case the women became hostel.

"A cleric of Sorynith is all," the woman said quietly as she looked up at the young man. She had finished rubbing the sleep from her eyes at this point but she still kept her hands slightly up for some reason. "So do you just think of yourself by whom you serve or do you have a name?"

Oz had to hold back a laugh. He had elven blood sure, but his power came from hard wit and a silver tongue punctuated by brief periods of study. The only 'power' he could see himself having within is being an a**.
Oz was curious, but cautious. Clerics were easy marks, their signs and symbols read far faster and easier then an instruction manual. Oz didn't know much about the Horizon Dweller; faulty rumors at best, misleading stereotypes at worst. What he did know is that this man had a reason for telling Oz about his aura, he just had to find out what it was.
"Strange, very strange." He nodded, "don't most magi pull just a but from themselves?" He feigned ignorance because he was sure the cleric liked to talk, as long as he could keep him talking he was bound to slip up.

"Well for Arcane magic users yes, but that too uses outside power to a degree. The energy has to come from somewhere. Your power however seems to be completely dependent on your soul. The only time I've seen anything similar was when I was on the Plane of Darkness and that strange elf threw a weird fireball at me..." At this point he began to ponder.
