Zolton gasped audibly, but cough to cover up his noise. "Noko? As in the daughter of Sessomelnoko and Ailema of the Canine and Feline clans respectively?" He asked, and then paused, "but of course when she was born many people were named after her in rejoicing the union of the two clans."

'It can't actually be Noko...right? I know that smell anywhere, and she doesn't have her scent at all. It must be a severe coincidence. Just like there being a woman named Calla...'

With the last of the light of the setting sun, he found the outline of the cave opening. "We're here everyone," he turned and smiled at

"H-huh....?" Raika felt a slight shiver running down his neck. Some of his actions made it hard to tell if the youth was actually 14 as he claimed to be. "You mean we're going......in there?" Raika quickly shook his head left to right, gripping his staff tightly. "No no no no no no no no no no! I don't wanna!! You're NOT making me go in there!! No way, no how!!! (>///<)/"

Raika pouted and refused many times. He hoped in the highest caliber that the rest of the group would listen to him and not let him go into the cave.

”If you won't do it, I will!”

"Hmm, right right. I am named for the dear Princess of Pacifica." She smiled genuinely, and looked over at the poor boy wimpering in fear of the cave, "a bit timid, aren't we?"

Calla mewled and left the lap of the man, and nuzzled the arm of Raika. She purred insistently, and started to knead the material of his pants. The cat desired to calm down the boy, and looked up at with wide eyes of anticipation.

Zolton settle the wagon quite close to the cavernous entrance, which was only a bit too small for the wagon itself to fit in. One by the, the passengers trickled out, and quickly ran for the cave.

"This cave is quite often used by caravan that cannot fight the weather of the rainy reason, but are forced to make the trip." He noted to anyone who would listen, "they go far and deep, though you'd never catch me traveling too far. I would suggest sticking close to the entrance. We aren't the only ones using the cave most likely."

The cave seem to be just a little under nine feet tall and at least 20 feet wide, with markings littering the floors and walls. Dates and times for pick ups, graffiti by kids, and warnings of creatures and bandits. Several unlit torches clung to the wall, and awaited the breath of flame once more.

Something was moving at the mouth of the cave, he wasn't quite sure yet. Rising slowly, the cat silently made his way forward, using the darkness to cover himself, before finally seeing the source of the noise. Mostly humans, but then, there was a union. A single Canine-Feline mix. He had only heard of it happening, but to finally see the result. Maybe it wasn't so far fetched. He stopped short of the light, just watching, curious as to the motives of the traveling group.

"Let no regret hold you back."

As Kaj came up upon the entrance to the city he was in awe. The wonders around him amazed him. He was glad to have finally made it to the city of knowledge. He quickly made his way through the city, having parked his carriage in one of the nearby stables. He had already made reservations at the local inn. He took the small delivery package to his contact within the city.

”If you won't do it, I will!”

Noko's ears pressed flat onto her head, having felt as though she was being watched. She stood, leaning against one of the cavern walls. Her tail twitched mildly in annoyance under her cloaks. She watched as the shapeshifter's companion slip away in the darkness, and then darted her eyes toward the pitch of the cave, where she felt the eyes.

Calla leaped out of caravan, transforming back into her normal form. She stretched upwards, still very much too short to reach the tall cave. She sniffed around like a dog, and looked around. "I feel like I recognize this place."

"I guess I have to...." Raika mumbled as he stepped out and nervously stared into what he thought could be the final moments of his life. A slight shiver went down his spine. "Ragna....I wish you were here to help me." Raika said to himself out loud, hoping his much talked about older brother would suddenly appear in front of Raika, giving him the courage he needed to move forward.

Just then, Raika heard what sounded like a demonic screach coming from inside the cave. "Oh, PLEASE tell me you guys heard that!" He shouted as he took a few steps back taking firm hold of his staff.

He chuckled at the timid mage boy, "It's entirely possible that their are even demons residing in here. Rumor across the southern boarders is that the populace has been sighting far more demons and the like around." He looked at the group, wondering who was listening, "it's been mostly small ones, but time can only tell if a few big guys will wonder through..."

He brushed his vest and shirt of stray dirt, and jumped off the carriage as the last of the people left. His three helpers left last as they rested against the cavern walls, awaiting any other orders from Zolton.

"Calla, there are a million caves just like this one. How could this one be recognizable?"

Calla held Raika close, noticing his terror as an inhuman sound came from within the depths of the cave, "Darl'n, I've got'cha." She smiled broadly at the sweet boy. There was this strange draw to help the poor boy with what ever could be wrong. A blush drew across her face as she listened to Zolton, "...well..." she had no way to back up her random familiar feeling to the place.

Noko eyed the group, and noticed a shifting the dark of the cave, "we are definitely not alone. Be on your guard."

Nikolai Komarov

"Demon's aren't all that like to hide in the dark." The feline said it softly, walking out of the darkness casually. "Though that one is far off, you'll not be seeing him anytime soon." The cave system was expansive, the feline knew that much. Once he was out in the open, he bowed lightly, his ear's twitching only slightly, showing his curiosity. "I am called Nikolai, what brings you out here into the wilds?" The introduction was simple, there were enough travelers here that if he was seen a threat, he may not make it away unscathed.
