What are your thoughts on using fake materials in fashion as opposed to the real thing? ei: fur, leather, etc.
In my opinion, I loooove fur but I hate it at the same time. It's so cruel, the process of actually acquiring it, yet at the same time it's so beautiful and elegant. I personally own four fur coats and a faux fur/leather combo. I of course would never buy brand new fur coats. I don't want to contribute to that cruelty. Though if I do see something magnificent, I won't think twice. Hahaha.
What do you guys think?

What do you guys think? i agree with u i own things that are made with real for and fake for i mean fur is just so pretty and soft fake for is soft but not as soft as the real deal i would buy fur alot but as for leather i always buy leather fake leather itself can not with hold a long period of time leather kinda pays for itself as for being a material that can last a long time

I prefer the faux.
As gorgeous as the real thing is, I couldn't live with myself if I got it. To me, buying the real deal is just endorsing such cruelty.

I try to avoid leather and fur, but if the animal died of natural causes and we ate most of it, and they used the fur/leather not to waste it, I would wear it. But if the handles of your Louis Viutton bag don't change color, it's not real leather, and it's a fake (illegal).
