Is the anime Umineko a good one... Ive seen the opening and they look sooooo boring... BUT! Ive heard the anime is better than higurashi...

Where did you hear that the anime was better than higurashi's? o.0 You can watch if you want, but anime isn't that great of an adaptation, and at times it wasn't even so great by itself. You can find out about the VN in forums to fill you in though.
I personally love it I haven't see the visual novel so i don't really know how to compare it. sweatdrop I don't know where to get it.. I have bought the DVD's though!!!

It's not as good as Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. sweatdrop
It's nowhere as scary and the characters aren't as developed as Higurashi's. The ending isn't that great either.
Despite the fact that it's completely overshadowed by Higurashi's awesomeness, I thought it was worth the watch. Just one watch.
Few of the characters are pretty cool, like the Siesta twins, and Beatrice. But, there's almost no character development anywhere.
So in short, if you do watch it, don't expect to much from it like I did. If you do, you'll find yourself pretty disappointed.
I would say that Umineko is pretty good, but of course not as good as Higurashi... But you should rather read the VN instead of watching the anime before you judge it(because it's crap) I bought the Umineko VN here: http://www.himeyashop.com/product_info.php/products_id/11978 And Umineko is not finished... The last episode is coming out in december.
