Do you think the title classic when referring to films, books, game etc. comes with age, with great content or a combination of both?
What do you consider among your personal classics and why?

There are so many factors that go into something becoming classic. Sometime you really have to wonder how it became a "classic". A lot of it has to do with the passage of time though.
For me there are a lot of things I consider classic that no one else remembers or even likes, so I'm not really the best person to answer this question.

I think it's a combination of factors. It can't be just time or there'd never be an "instant classic" I'll try to come up with something more in depth later.

I agree. It is a matter of multiple factors. In my opinion, Doctor Who is a classic show. After all, it has been around for like 50 years.
