If you haven't heard yet you either don't watch [AS] (Adult Swim) or do not patrol Gaia's Anime forum xD
It starts Next Saturday, and even has most of the original voices from the terrible anime!
ohhh man I can't wait. I really didn't like the original anime but Brotherhood is almost completely identical to the manga, so I await its arrival very eagerly. 3nodding

I don't get the friggin' channel at school but I'm going to some how fix it by this weekend cuz damnit I can't wait! = U=
Ya know, I know the anime didn't follow the manga and all that, but it was a really really well down anime despite. I mean, the art was gorgeous, VA amazing, and the story was incredible -- I loved it, it's one of the best series' I've seen.

I agree Yuma, I mean having read the manga, the first anime is completely ridiculous. They shouldn't have rushed through and invented their own ending, it doesn't even make sense when you start to see where the story is going. I mean it didn't make sense in the first place, but when you have something to compare it to. I'll agree the art's nice, and I like the voices (which like you said will mostly be the same) but bah, plot really pissed me off, especially at the end. I think I could have forgiven the rest of the fail story altertaion if THAT hadn't been the ending. W-T-F
I was talking to a friend about it this weekend, and he's making me feel bad about how behind I am on my anime viewing. He's watched over 1000 episodes of various series (not counting Naruto and One Piece - which means he's not counting hundreds of episodes) in the past year. I've just been more into reading than watching lately. Since volume 23 doesn't come out here until July though, maybe I can fill the times I want FMA with Brotherhood. Anyhow I'll have to watch it online because I don't have cable in my room anymore, and I just won't make the effort to record it up front. So the AS bit of news isn't all that relevent for me.

Aaah, I never did watch all of the other series. xD; I just saw the beginning and I liked it quite a bit, actually. (I didn't see the end though so... XD) I've started reading the manga recently so maybe I'll check out the new anime. =3
But I'm contrary and insist on watching/reading the Japanese versions of everything so... It might be awhile. XD;;
...Do you ever wonder if it's justified?

I liked the first half of the series too, it just got kinda weird and stopped tying together logically...and then I really didn't like the end.

Even reading the japanese versions chibi? o AAAO That must be so hard!! o AAAO X3; I envy your mad skillz.
= AAA= I missed brotherhood cuz I was at schoooooool D< But I recoreded it at home so hoooopefully I can see it this weekend. ^-^;

@Akila: Ah, it's not that bad, actually. ^-^
Everything has furigana over it so it makes it easy to read and take a quick look at my dictionary everyonce in a while. And since it's really casual Japanese, everythings really simple and easy to understand. =D
As soon as I finish reading the manga, I'll watch FMA, I dun wanna get spoiled yet. XD
I'd rather read the manga and spoil the anime than vice versa. I don't know why. =d

I'm probably like that too Chibi K, which is why I haven't watched very much anime lately. Anyhow the manga is ahead of the new anime...I think if you get through like volume 19 you are past the anime? Maybe sooner than that, I was talking to a cashier at Borders in SF about it when I bought volume 22. Taking a risk that she'd be spoiling things for me if the manga wasn't further, but luckily it is. And hopefully it's going to stay that way because if they do the same thing as last time and get ahead of the manga and make up an ending I'm going to scream. However it's almost done in Japan I think so that shouldn't happen...it had better not.

xDDD;; Ooou that's fine Chibi. It depends on what I'm in the mood for and the art of the manga and if I can get my hands on it or not.- nodnod- Usually the manga is better... I've only had a couple of exceptions...
But I really wanna work in animation so I kind of like the experience of watching it. -shrug-
