Or are these Phishing scam trolls breeding? I'm playing on one of my toons and i got at LEAST 3 whispers telling me my account was compromised/suspended/whatever and i need to log into some random almost official looking web address. It used to be i could go weeks, months even without one and now I'm lucky if i go a day. Do you guys have this problem or is it just my server?

I get emails all the time saying my account has been hacked but never in game....just mostly gold scams.

Happens to me on a daily basis. I just hurl nasty insults at them.
I was talking to a rogue who uses an addon called Badboy, which is pretty useful for preventing those, apparently. I tried to whisper him from my level 1 (cross faction, but a friendly conversation) and it shot back an auto-reply "You need to be level 2 to whisper me." I've been meaning to try it out. If you're under siege you might consider picking up an addon like that.
