It has been requested of me to hold a story contest. As we have so few members and diversity in their ideas I feel that the theme of the story should be left to the discretion of the writer. The length of the story should be less than 5000 words, per standard short story length. One entry per participant.
Entries should be posted in the Writers Hall under one of the Story Contest Entry topics. I will leave several open, just pick an empty one and post your story there. The deadline for story entry will be Mon. Feb. 1st. From that time there will be one week to judge all contestants. For this contest there will be a 1-10 rating for all contestants. The higher the rating the better the score; the highest score will determine the winners. Please vote on each contestant when voting is in effect.
Prizes:
1st Place - 75,000 gold
2nd Place - 25,000 gold
3rd Place - 15,000 gold
Subsequent Entry Award - 5,000 gold each

Due to the fact that the only entrant was fire48 he will receive the top prize.
