Story – Warning, Spoilers herein!
A year after the death of Jegran, the land is peaceful. Althea is doing a marvelous job as queen, Keiss is still the Selkie Guildmaster, and the Yukes have returned, and the Crystal Principle is in balance once again, for with the return of the Yukes, returns magic. Althea's first order as Queen was the declaration that all magic, if used responsibly, was no longer outlawed. As if on que, several magic users began emerging out of the shadows of the kingdom. It was as if they had been hiding their abilities all along from the tyrant Jegran. It seems things were at peace, until, one day, on her travels to find Layle, the Selkie Belle uncovers a plot that threatens the entire land.
Overhearing the words between two mysterious travellers, it had been revealed that nations from across the sea were planning an invasion of the Kingdoms and Provinces of Alfitaria. They called theirselves Soldiers of Midgard.

Queen Althea Guildmaster Keiss Layle – Whereabouts Unknown Belle Cid

Races: Lilty – The Llty Tribe is the most dominant tribe in the continent. They control a vast and powerful kingdom. They dwell in the kingdom's urban areas moreso than others. In general, lilties think that they are quite sophisticated and cultured, an attitude that has caused more than one resentful Selkie to view them as spoiled snobs. Many Selkie often refer to them defensivly as 'onions' due to the plant shape on their head. After the destruction of Jegran and the battleshipAlexis, relations between the Lilties and Selkies improved.
Clavat – Most Clavats are rural farmers in agrarian areas. They also tend to be the most religious of the four tribes and can often be found making the treacherous journey to the Rivelgauge Monastary. Although most clavats are people of modest means and limited political influence, they don't harbor the same resentment against the Lilties that the Selkie do, despite havinb lost the great war to the Lilty. Instead, Clavat prefer to be allowed to go about their day-to-day business.
Selkie – Selkies are an impish, free-spirited tribe who make their home in and around the Selkie Guild. An autonomous region of the world outside the jurisdiction of the Lilty Kingdom. They make their home around coastal areas near water. Selkies maintain a resentful independance from the Lilty, but they have never engaged them in open hostilities, unlike the Clavats who fought and lost to the Lilties in the great war. Nevertheless, that doesn't keep Lilties from riding the Selkie Train, the most efficient method of traveling across the kingdom, nor does this prevent Selkies from taking Lilty gil for the fare. After the destruction of Jegran and the battleshipAlexis, relations between the Lilties and Selkies improved.
Yuke – An enigmatic tribe that was lost for thousands of years, with the destruction of Jegran and his battleship the Yukes restored their crystal and have returned to existance. They seem to be bodyless entities that have the ability to possess empty armor, their current gender depends on the armor they are possessing. Armors with bat-wings are male, armors with bird wings are female. They are masters of the arcane, as described in the olden days.
--------------------------------
Magic: Upon the return of the Yukes, the Yukes re-instructed the people in the use of Magicite. Magicite was the source of the crystal-bearer's embedded crystals. Shards of magicite embedded in the bodies of a bearer.
All Final Fantasy magic is acceptable, since they're almost identical in each one. An OC can have a maximum of four spells, however, the more kinds of magics you can get, the less powerful the casting it is.
For example. Don has three spell slots, and he chooses all the Black Mage magics. However he can only choose two and level up one of his spells, let's say he has Blizzard and Cure. He uses that extra slot to level up either cure to cura, or blizzard to blizzara. He cannot upgrade both. Spending all three slots on a single magic will make you an expert of that element.
Blizzard – Level 1 Blizzara – Level 2 Blizzaga – Level 3
In order to be fair, higher level spells leave you vulnerable to attack and interruption. And the enemies have a longer time to get out of your range, for the higher the spell level, the longer you have to wait for it to be cast.
