[Summation]When you tell someone you're gay, or they find out, are they usually surprised or say something like "I knew it".
It kinda bothers me and makes me feel awkward.[/summation]
So you feel uncomfortable when people are surprised, or AREN'T surprised?
Wow... you don't leave people many options, do you?

In Jordan it's like a big deal, most people here are homophobes, and a lot of the people I hang out with are, so I don't just go around announcing it, but everyone insists on playing with my phone and the wall paper is me and this girl kissing, so they're like "._. ... We like you too much to hate you, but, seriously?"
I don't blame them. You don't have to be homophobic to think that it's inappropriate (or at the very least, unnecessary) to have a picture of yourself kissing your partner as the background of your phone.
These days, phones are not private things, and no doubt you're aware of that.
I say keep your private life where it belongs and stop stuffing it in people's faces.
No offense, but it sounds to me like you have the picture on there primarily for the attention it gets, and then secondarily for the ability to whine about it online and garner more attention.
