In a small town. Caspes.
Liymi walked into the room with her mother and faced the fireplace. The house filled with the smell of good home cooked meals. Her mother walked over and placed her hand on Liymi's shoulder. "Now, Liymi, In the future make your mother proud..." Her Mother smiled and looked down at her. Carefree, Liymi smiled and continued to look into the fire. A knock at the door is made clear as her mother began to fix the pot over the fire. "Now who could that be..?" Liymi's eyes left the fire while picking up her home-made bear. "Mom..?" Liymi's eyes become dilated as her mother opened the door. Abducted; screams were heard from outside. Liymi began shield her face into the bear. "M-mom...?" She says as backing away slowly. The lights went out one by one. "M-Mom..?"

Her call became jolted as it dragged its self closer. The figure seized her arm and dragged the small child away from the home. "Your mother is safe; However you are not." trying to break the hold, but fails. "W-where are we going..?!" The figure detached his hood and turned toward the small child. "You have been chosen, Liymi. You have been selected to watch the world we stand on today..." Her eyes began to water up as it continued. "Your place is no longer in a world... But to watch over one. Now, I give you what remnant of power I retain. Take this and watch over the ones you love and cherish the most. Make this 'world' a better place for all, Liymi..."

It was the tower keeper. Her Father. "Liymi you must do this.. For your mother.. For me..." She wiped her face while hugging her father. "Don't scare me like that Father.." He pats her head, smiling gently. "Liymi we must move... We can't stay here any longer..." He grabs her and began to run towards their target. Running by her father's side her eye catched the tower as the stopped. "Liymi... My darling angle... Take this.. And protect Cascadia." He placed his pendant around her neck. "Father..?" He smiled at her as he turned slightly to a pack of creatures. "Liymi...Run. Now!" She ran hastily towards the tower as her father tried to draw them away from her.

She finally arrived and headed inward shutting the hatch. The pendant began to shine in her hand as she fell forward. "Father..." her eyes began to water up again. "I must make Dad and Mom proud" Liymi's head lifted as a knock on the door was made clear. She got up as she brushes her face. The door released completely. The pendant triggered a small glow of bright blue. Her father stepped internal while holding his side. "L-Liymi..Angel.." He fell forward as the horde of creatures invaded the door. The pendant grew brighter. The creatures backed off as they vanish into the atmosphere. The man turned onto his back looking at the door. A sigh of relief withdrawaled from his dismantled body.

"L-Liymi.." walking over slowly, she examined father. "L-Liymi.. You have all the powers you need to save Cascadia.. You must do what you can to keep this world together.." Liymi's eyes tear up again. "I know this is much but you must do this.. You have been chosen to keep faith in this land." Her father sits up. "I have some time left before-" He looks over at his daughter. "Liymi come with me.." Liymi helps her father up slowly as her pendant stops glowing. The begin to walk up the stairs slowly. "I choose you because I can trust you. You are very strong hearted. You do things most people wouldn't have dreamt of doing. You care about others, and most of all, you take risks. By doing that you have proven to me that you can do this." They both reached the top.

Her father limped over to the middle of the tower. Her eyes meet a symbol on the ground. "I-Is that the symbol fo-" Her father smiled while holding his wounded side. "Yes it is. It's the symbol for Cascadia. This is your new home now. Your pendant and this symbol will protect you and keep you out of harms way." Liymi stepped into it with her father and hugged him once again. "Liy.. You must do this promise me no matter what happens you will keep this world together." Liymi looks up toward her father. "Yes, I promise.." He smiled while looking down. "Good." His begin to close. "You must stay protected. So I made sure of this." Six figures of light formed behind him. "These are your guardians. They will protect you and this tower from harm."

The lights began to take form into the guardians. "As you see they are different from one another. But as of now they are here to serve and arm you until you are able to do so on your own." Liymi walked up to them, her head turned, her father hunched over; dismantled. The symbol then began to glow around her."W-What's happening...!" Shielding her face while she lost hold of the bear. The guardians held out their hands as the symbol began to glow alter colors. Her father smiled as he reached for her face. "Liy.. It is time for me to go my dear. But one last thing. You must keep the peace between these races. They will have collision between them. Once you bring tranquility among them, the world we stand on will be perfect again." Liymi's eyes widen as she watches him fade away. "Father... Where are you going.. " His facial expression changed as his footing changed from her.

"Remember your promise Liy.." She tried to grab him but fells thru him. She remained there, crying, one of the guardians helped her up. "Father.." In the distance Her mother stood on a hill. "Liymi.. How could you fall to the same fate your father did.." She shakes her head. You will not be forgiven by me..Nor the others.." She turned toward the horde behind her. "Is he finished..?" A small group of people of all races and shapes slowly walked up towards her. "Yes.." the woman stated as she began her descent from the overlook, "She will be as well... Soon enough..." a hint of anger and sadness graced her speech as the cloaked followers silently disappeared alongside her back into the catalyst world.

"Sin" Zankaizen said, as he opened his eyes. All at once visions of a planet filled his head, a realm of it's own, uncleaned. Sin was rampant there, all sorts of sin from all walks of life. Sickening, that's what it was. "It will be judged." he said his eyes flicking around to the area, his companions fading out, to perform their missions. Fading slowly, he closed his eyes, and at the same moment the planet, Cascadia, shook. A rip in space-time, occured above an area, annihilating all the life there, down to the plants, all the water evaporated, the sky tinted black, permanently. It was impossible to imagine, this sort of chaos, taking place in a single moment, but it did. Then all at once, the rip was gone, and the destruction was over. In a hidden layer of the realm, there the place was, everything that had been in the now-destroyed area, reincarnated in the new one. These were not their own, not creations of a sinful world. No, these were echoes, purity made from a judged zone. There, amongst the echoes, was Zankaizen, his form intimidating and gothic, amongst the beauty of the area. His eyes gliding across the horizon, he felt a sudden ripple in the aura, and he very quickly felt a call, to a young girl, her father fading from life, and in his last request, he begged for guardians. The girl, too young to protect herself, was the hope of this sinful world. Despite his wanting to judge, he protected such innocence, and so, however grudgingly, he faded from his area, reappearing slowly, and rather intimidatingly in the room, however, it was a peaceful strength that was exuded by his dark and malevolent appearing form. Gently reaching down, he took the young girl up, helping her from the ground. "This is the world, to which you are called, to which you are bound, whether I judge or not, is of no importance at the moment, however, you need a guardian, and so until you too are encapsulated by sin, I will guard you, innocent one, from those who would sin further."

"What.." the word trickled from his mouth. Drake should be dead, he should be, but he isn't, and that was confusing. His last memory, was of a battle, and was of dying, but now. Now he wasn't sure, about anything. He was in new clothes, the clothes of a royal guardian, and a glow came from a circle by his feet, it was one that he didn't recognize, but he understood what it had to be, as his eyes fell upon a young girl, bathed in light. "I don't know what's going on, or why.. why I'm alive, even. But, I do know that I must protect you.. and so I will, with my life even." Drake's face was fierce, as he put his hand forward, and onto Liymi's shoulder, her crimson pendant lighting up as contact was made, and a similar pendant appeared on a chain around his neck. He smiled, in wonder and awe, as little tidbits of knowledge came into his mind. One word, one single word cemented his place. "Goddess." it came from his mouth, without warning, and he knew it was the truth, so, taking a knee, he bowed in reverence to her. "...Liymi."

"Resilience."

As brilliant speckles of light dissipate in an upward torrent, a lithe figure emerges. Emotionless expressions imbued with a sense of irony abound as her summoner fades into dust. "Shameful, guardians should never be in need of assistance."

Eyes glare at the weeping child in the center of the room. "Stand on your own two feet, many are not capable."

Staring out the windows of the high tower, Auren views the armada of strangely cloaked individuals retreating into the eastern Caspewood. A sensation is awakened within as the looming threat to the world is realized. "Interesting."
---

"It isn't as if any of these events matter in the slightest... there is no place in the mortal plane for beings such as a 'god', bipedal-possessing or otherwise."

"Peace.." The Toa Toan raised it's head as the light took form around him. The creature smiled. Short, short arms, mid-length tail that wrapped around his feet. It shook it's head as he smiled gently amoung the others. "I've been summoned my goddess to protect you from harms way. I vow your life with my own and shall do whatever it takes to keep faith in this land and happness on your face." The Tao Tao kneels and watches as Liymi's father disappears.
