I should note that any inactivity over the next two weeks is because I've got quite a bit of school work to do. Though I should be back with a vengance after the fifth of December.

-HoH- Elia Noah The results for Heaven or Hell Round One are here! Judge One Team: NKBFighter: Nipples errr SolDominance - (4) You controlled that fight and dished out most the pain, excellent. Creativity - (3) Nice intro, but nothing really spectacular. Logic - (3) While nothing was wrong with the logic of your posts as a whole, it just irks me that you stabbed a sword through someone’s ribcage in a nonlethal tournament. Clarity - (5) No problems reading the fight. Bonus - (-1 n****e) – You didn’t need it anyway. Total: 15 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: NKBFighter: JoeDominance - (3) The two of you were dead-even, even if you did save him at the end. Creativity - (5) I loved this fight, and I especially loved the creative uses of the terrain and your abilities. Logic - (4) Nothing big. Clarity - (5) Nicely written. Bonus - (0) – I can’t give bonus points for being awesome. Total: 17 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: NKBFighter: SnooginsDominance - (4) You kept Ryke pinned for most of the fight and controlled the tempo. Good job. Creativity - (3) I laughed at the dialogue, but outside of that, nothing really stood out. Logic - (3) You seemed to shrug off the striker’s attack. Also, the whole punching the gear to try and deafen someone was definitely a “WTF” moment. Clarity - (3) Typos made some of your posts difficult to follow on the first read through. Bonus - (0) - None Total: 13 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Scores: Team Never Knows Best : (15 + 17+ 13)/3 = 15 Team Awesome: 13.3 ________________________________________________________________________ Judge Two ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows BestFighter: SolDominance - (4) Sol pretty much controlled the fight from the get-go, and Izzy didn't really get much of a chance to do anything in response. What damage she did deal to Sol was comparatively minor to what he was doing to her. Creativity - (3.5) Great entry into the fight, but after that and the initial exchanges, things seemed to slow down a bit. Not bad, and overall solid writing and ideas being presented. Logic - (4) Can't recall any major problems, although stabbing someone in the chest like that COULD be very, very fatal, and is something one would need to watch out for. Otherwise, things were by and large pretty logical. Clarity - (3) There were some issues in Sol's posts where the wording made things kind of confusing to read, but all in all it wasn't too bad. Just have to be careful with word choice and certain other things to avoid any confusion. Bonus - (0) - No KO, no flags, no bonuses. Total: 14.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows BestFighter: JospehDominance - (3) This fight was pretty much back and forth throughout its entirety. Joseph seemed to be making his opponent react more than the other way around, which means he was controlling the fight's pace a bit more. But, not a lot - it was still pretty much a two-way smack down, and wasn't quite in either fighter's favor. Creativity - (5) Good, solid, easy to read posts. Didn't have any problems following along, and the actions/reactions from Joseph were all creative and fit in with the character (as I know him) perfectly. Good job, can't say much else that my score in this category doesn't explain. Logic - (4) I can't remember anything being too out of place in this fight, although some points were a little odd involving the punching/grabbing between the two characters. Otherwise, it was pretty solid. Clarity - (4) Some of the cog stuff got confusing, but that aside, things were clear all throughout. Bonus - (0) - No KO, no flags, no bonuses. Total: 16 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows BestFighter: SnooginsDominance - (4) Snoogins pretty much controlled the pace of this fight and didn't waste much time in beating the crap out of his opponent. Things went downhill pretty fast for Ryke. Creativity - (3) Most of the fight was pretty straight forward "I bludgeon you until you stop moving" and didn't really change a whole lot. Pretty standard for what one might expect. Logic - (2) I'm not sure where one would draw the conclusion of bone crushing force from the strength boost described in Snoogin's profile. 410 pounds is a lot, but I can deadlift around 360 or a bit more as a max, and while I imagine I could cause some hurt if I just VICE-GRIPPED someone, I can't imagine jumping up fifty pounds would grant bone-breaking grip strength. Also seemed like Snoogins just sort of ignored the damage he was being dealt - he took it, but it didn't seem to have an effect on him at all. Clarity - (3) Overall, things were mostly clear, but the posts felt sort of rushed. It made things a little hard to follow, at some points, because it seemed like the posts were just jumping from one topic to the next without any sort of break or change in pacing. Bonus - (0) - Total: 12 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Scores: Team Never Knows Best: 14.2 [14.5+16+12=42.5] Team Awesome: 12 ________________________________________________________________________ Judge Three ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Sol Dominance - (4) Sol held the upper hand for most, if not all of the fight. Hell, he probably would have killed Izzy if the fight had gone on much longer. Creativity - (3.5) Nothing fancy on Sol's part aside from his DYNAMIC ENTRY, which was probably the best start to a fight so far. Logic - (4) Not really any WTF moments, but there were some things I wasn't sure about concerning the initial reaction to Izzy's lunging stab...thing on the hour hand. Clarity - (4) Clarity takes another hit during the clock hand encounter, just before Sol kicked Izzy through the clock again. Was kinda wonky wording, but it didn't take too long to figure out exactly what was happening. Bonus - () - Total: 15.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Joseph Brown Dominance - (3.5) The fight was mostly back and forth, but the slight edge goes to JB for controlling the pace. Creativity - (5) A great combination of combining your character's personality, powers, and the stage to create an interesting read. Props to you, good sir. Logic - (5) No real WTF moments here, and since you acted in tune with your character you manage a 5 here as well. Clarity - (4) Just some minor confusion concerning the flammable goop at first. Nothing super serious, however. Bonus - () - No KO, no card Total: 17.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows BestFighter: Snoogins Dominance - (4) Snoogins had Zandra right where he wanted her most of the fight. Either moving backwards, or right underneath him. If the fight would have gone on any longer, he probably would have netted a KO. Creativity - (3) Snoogins was pretty straightforward with his actions. Nothing really fancy, not a lot of environment interaction. Just pounding away at a girl. Logic - (2) I'm not 100% sure, but being able to deadlift 410 pounds probably shouldn't equate to bone crushing pressure by one hand. Punching a gear hard enough to cause somebody to go deaf from the noise without breaking your hand, let alone without something metal, is cause for concern. Also, wasn't a big fan of your reaction to DOUBLE HEADBUTT, as that s**t hurts both parties, mang. Clarity - (4) A few issues concerning what body part or which side of the body you were attacking early on in the fight, along with what you were kicking over the edge first. Nothing major. Bonus - () - Total: 13 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Scores: Team Never Knows Best: 15.33 Team Awesome: 12.16 ________________________________________________________________________ Final Score Team Never Knows Best: 14.8 [15+14.2+15.33=44.53/3] Team Awesome: 12.6 [13.3+12+12.6=37.9/3] Winner: Never Knows Best

Dirt flew up behind reddish orange muscle car came ripping down the road with a remarkable lack of concern for the well being of its two obviously unhinged occupants. The car rocketed over bumps in the road the suspension some how surviving the horrific abuse as it made its way in a dead line for the gate of the cemetery To say Sol was perturbed was an understatement, he had read Miss Harmony’s report on the other team on the location they’d been assigned and he hated it, all of it. It stunk of the kind of things a made for TV movie would use, and when he’d been asked by Joseph to procure transportation Sol had sought out the most unusual means of transport he could find…If this was how it was going to be Sol was going to enjoy it. An original 1970’s Dodge Charger in full Dukes of Hazard regalia confederate flag and all now ripped down the road towards their destination. The whole thought of the sight of this coming screaming down the road carrying the eccentric CEO of Alpha through Epsilon and his assigned protector made him smile broadly, in fact perhaps a little too broadly… He was enjoying this a touch too much. The General Lee reached the bottom of the Hill below the cemetery gate and Sol floored it, forcing his employer and passenger back into his seat as they roared up the hill flying off the top of the hill and through the cemetery gate with a deafening crash. The spooky gate was ripped clear off its hinges and pushed under the flying car as Sol slammed down on the horn with the palm of his hand The echo of the cars horn playing Dixie echoing off the surrounding mausoleums and tombstones and radiating for miles in the cool clear air the only sound following the destruction of the gate. Yeeahaaa!!!!! A team of Evil magic users in a cursed grave yard? the NKB boys sure had gotten themselves into quite a pickle this time. Landing with a bounce before taking off briefly before all four tires finally regained traction on the damp soil of the grave yard, the General Lee drifted to the right sending the car into a three hundred and sixty degree spin knocking over tombstones and throwing up a tornado of mud dirt and marble. Leaving the headlights on and the engine running Sol climbed out of the drivers side window and sat on the edge of the door facing back towards the gate while he waited for his passenger to regain consciousness or get out of the vehicle. Which ever, its not like the general Lee had airbags… Looking back at the path of destruction they had caused with their entrance Sol simply smiled and shared a few choice words with the scenery as he sat on the edge of the door. “FUUUUUUUck you and your Creepy gate!’

So technically we lost by points. But won thanks to a new rule? -HoH- Elia Noah Judge One ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Alison Dominance - (4) There wasn't really any doubt that Alison controlled the fight as it continued on, and it ended rather abruptly before anyone could tell if Lacey's demon form would have turned the battle. As it stands, Alison takes the win in this category. Creativity - (3.5) There was some attempt at interacting with the environment, but the actions themselves weren't overly flashy or engaging. I'm a sucker for character development, and there was a disappointing lack of this present as well. Logic - (3.5) Some strange, even questionable dodges that frustrated your opponent. You kind of also shrugged off getting your leg carved by ACID CLAWS, but when your opponent went demon you acted accordingly and tried to get the hell outta dodge. Clarity - (4) Easy to tell what you were trying to do for the most part. Just one instant early in the fight during the response to Lacey's Throwback power that I was a little confused on. Bonus - () - Total: 15 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Sol Dominance - (3) Double KO pretty much means a push in the Dominance category. Creativity - (4) Some clever use of Sol's chains along with FEEDBACK LOOP. A solid descriptive writing style also helps. Logic - (5) No real logical slipups. Clarity - (4) The beginning of the fight was hard to follow on both ends, but it settled down and from that point on it was smooth sailing. Bonus - () - Total: 16 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Joseph Brown Dominance - (3) The fight was pretty even all the way through. One person took a shot, the other person caused tentacles to sprout from their own, and so on and so forth until we ran out of time. Creativity - (5) A great read from both fighters. I have to give credit to keeping JB's personality intact despite the loss of his voice. Good, varied use of powers and melee combat. Logic - (5) No problems with what Joseph did. The banter was perfectly in line with what one would expect from Joseph, his ruse following the Matrix muting was fine, and none of his actual fight actions screamed "WTF" to me. Clarity - (5) Everything was pretty easy to understand/read, so no points taken off here. Bonus - () - Total: 18 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Scores: Team Al Azif: 16.17 Team Never Knows Best: 16.33 ________________________________________________________________________ Judge Two ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Alison Dominance - (4) Creativity - (3) Logic - (3) Clarity - (4) Bonus - () - Total: 14 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Sol Dominance - (3) Creativity - (5) Logic - (4) Clarity - (4) Bonus - () - Total: 16 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Joseph Dominance - (3) Creativity - (5) Logic - (5) Clarity - (5) Bonus - () - Total: 18 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Scores: Team Never Knows Best: 16 [14+16+18=48/3] Team Al Azif: 15.8 ________________________________________________________________________ Judge Three ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Alison Dominance - (3) The fight was initially in your favor, but you lost it towards the end. Creativity - (3.5) Pole vaulting and the attempted skull launching were pretty cool, but outside of that, nothing really stood out as amazing. Logic - (4) I found your knee attempt odd, but outside of that, nothing major. Clarity - (5) No problems here. Bonus - (0) None Total: 15.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Sol Dominance - (3) Double KO! Creativity - (5) Great read, great fight. Logic - (5) Nothing wrong here. Clarity - (4) Like I told the other guy, too much unnecessary prose at times. It gets distracting. Bonus - (0) None. Total: 17 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Joseph Dominance - (3) Technically the two of you were even, but most of Damnatus’s wounds were self inflicted, so I had to put you at a slight disadvantage. Creativity - (5) lol mutations. Logic - (5) Yes, I'm awarding a 5 in logic to someone who had a mouth grow out of their arm because, DAMMIT! Clarity - (5) No problems here. Bonus - (0) None Total: 18 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Scores: Al Azif : 17.2 Never Knows Best: 16.8 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Score Never Knows Best: (16.8 + 16 + 16.33)/3 = 16.37 Al Azif: (17.2 + 15.8 + 16.17)/3 = 16.39 Winner: Never Knows Best by virtue of 2:1 Judge decision!

-HoH- Elia Noah Judge One Team: Never Knows BestFighter: JosephDominance - (3) The fight was even, but you ended up taking more damage, thus, Vahn gets the edge. Creativity - (5) Awesome posts and use of your abilities. Also, the dodge of that striker was… BRILLIANT! Logic - (4.5) No serious problems, just… wtf was up with that moving platform? Clarity - (5) Fine. Bonus - (0) None. Total: 17.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall ScoresGlacier: 17 Never Knows Best: 17.5 _______________________________________________________________________ Judge Two ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows BestFighter: JosephDominance - (3) The fight was pretty back and forth all throughout, and although I think Vahn pulled out an edge as time wore on, it's hard to fault Joseph's abilities when you consider he's just some guy with a drinking problem and a backpack full of faux meta-human abilities. Creativity - (5) Pretty much everything I would have expected. I AM NOT DISAPPOINT. Logic - (5) Obviously some things throughout the fight may have been a little quirky, but there wasn't a whole lot of problems here. Nothing major enough to detract from Jospeh's score, anyways. Clarity - (4) Pretty much clear throughout, just had a few rough patches at some points. Joseph's initial attempt to get onto the airship seemed sort of odd to me when I first read it. Bonus - () - Total: 17 ________________________________________________________________________ Overall Scores: Team Never Knows Best: 17 Team Glacier: 16.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Judge Three ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows BestFighter: Joseph BrownDominance - (3) Joseph did fairly well, holding his own against Vahn and peppering him with a large number of weak attacks. I think Vahn edged Joseph in damage done, if only slightly. Creativity - (5) I think Joseph as a character is basically forced to be creative, because even with his armor he can't taken on characters like Vahn without thinking outside the box. The posts themselves were also fun to read. Logic - (5) Everything JB did was fine from a logic standpoint. Get away from the swordsman, don't get hit by the dual tech, etc. Most importantly, he didn't break the game to do any of it. Clarity - (4.5) A few typos that kind of mucked up the reading that normally wouldn't have been a big problem had they not been so prevalent in the early goings of the fight. Judge 1 Wrote: Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Joseph Brown
Dominance - (3) JB really turned things around at the end of the fight
Creativity - (5) Not really a surprise anymore here. JB's powerset coupled with his writing makes for a solid score.
Logic - (4) Joseph kind of soaked a lot of damage, but it wasn't awful by any means.
Clarity - (4.5) Like last round there was an abundance of some poorly placed typos that busted up an otherwise perffect flow.
Bonus - () -
Total: 16.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Sol Badguy Blackwell
Dominance - (4) Sol had the edge early, then Yasuo fought back into things before it all was said and done.
Creativity - (3.5) Sol's a very straightforward character, which unfortunately seems to hurt creativity no matter what. I liked the posting style though.
Logic - (4) The only thing that bugged me was the headbutt, since you were rocking your head into a steel plate three consecutive times and only came out of it with a slight cut to the forehead.
Clarity - (4) I had a few hangups, particularly early on in the fight, but post for post I didn't spend a lot of time deciphering your intent.
Bonus - () -

Judge 2 Wrote: Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Joseph
Dominance - (3.5) Both fighters took a lot of damage, but Joseph took less, in that the damage he took didn't have the same potential to be debilitating. Tip of a nose, some burns and getting the face cut up is pretty harmful, but doesn't quite hamper your fighting ability like getting an elbow wrecked, or the like.
Creativity - (4) Laser power is used a lot. It's effective, obviously, but he has a rather large power-set, and he seemed to rely (offensively speaking) mostly on the Light power, and secondarily on ice/air. But said pew-pew lasers have been used a ton, so it almost becomes formulaic; out of the relatively large powerset he has, he's using relatively little, and what little Jospeh uses, he uses consistently. Still a good read, though.
Logic - (4) Not a huge problem here. Joseph took a lot of damage for someone who's a 'normal human' but it wasn't too extreme. Otherwise, most things seemed to make sense. Could call him on the excessive use of abilities, but the fact is they aren't that strong, they have a noted energy burn, and his battery was getting pretty low from all the use.
Clarity - (4) Had a "???" moment in the initial close range exchange, but it turned out alright, and the rest of the fight seemed to read smoothly enough.
Bonus - (0) -
Total: 15.5 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Sol
Dominance - (4) Sol clearly held an advantage here, especially early one when he got to give Yasuo a few boots to the head without an immediate retaliation.
Creativity - (3) Pretty solid posts. Clarity issues aside, it was all good. Too bad the Hulkamania post didn't count as part of the fight, because I'm pretty sure Sol would have gotten 9000+ for his creativity score from that post alone.
Logic - (4) Most things made sense. Logic and clarity tie in strongly together, so some things were hard to make sense of until I worked out what was being said, then it the action itself would make sense. Otherwise, fairly straight forward, no nonsense stuff. Although, I think it is worth saying that no matter how hard your head is, headbutting someone wearing protection is just bad end(tm).
Clarity - (3) Had some serious problems understanding what Sol was doing, at some points, especially early on in the fight. There were also a lot of spelling or basic grammar problems (missing apostrophes, etc) but those didn't really affect the grading, although it's worth pointing out.
Bonus - () -
Total: 14 ________________________________________________________________________ Team: Never Knows Best Fighter: Alison
Dominance - (4) Alison held a pretty dominant position for most of the fight. That might have changed later on, what with the whole "I'M ON FIYAAAAH" thing. But I'm not grading on what-ifs, and what's in the fight is Alison in a stronger position than her opponent, albeit a position that had the potential to rapidly degrade.
Creativity - (3) I never knew pom poms could be so dangerous. Posts were straightforward (not a bad thing) and easy to read, although it seemed they were a bit dry. Not downgrading for that, though, because everyone has a different writing style, and some level of cut-and-dry is appealing to read because it never develops into a creative eyesore.
Logic - (3) Felt like Alison was sort of shrugging off Kain in terms of physical capabilities and not really giving his attacks their due 'weight'. Also, bad to dictate an opponent's level of damage. This really only came up with when she had Kain on the ground and dealing with his wings, but it's something that should be avoided.
Clarity - (3) I'm not sure what it was, but this fight was hard to follow. I'm not sure why, and I apologize for not being able to provide specific examples or reasoning like I usually would, it was just overall.. a little hard to grasp what was going on in some cases, on both fighter's parts. Felt like some actions needed a bit more elaboration to be clearer.

Beyond the fact that one judge didnt grade Allisons fight, and the last judge barely put anything but fine/good. Plus a lot of 'you had dominance but here's a 3' for all of us.
I dunno how I feel about these scores... I mean we won so perhaps its moot but... I dunno.

Yeah. Ever since the Glacier fight it seems they've been reading... Different fights than actually happened. Not to be ornery, but they seem to want to make the fights closer than they were.
That said! Money.
