Yuri smiled, "Allright, thank you very much professor. I promise not to be a bother." he said with a polite bow. Choosing an eazel near evermore he sat down, "Can't say ive painted in some time so dont be surprised if my skills aren't up to par." he said with a slight blush.

"There is beauty here," Ambrose said simply, and remembered when he'd captured the beauty of the elven forest and captured it in an orb for his sister. Where Mystic Fountain had been rugged, a proud building set amongst the magic forests, this here simply blended in with the surroundings, preserving the original feel of the area even while adding to its beauty.

"I believe, if I may be so bold, that I would much prefer learning from your father. I find I am better with one-on-one study sessions." He said with a smile, and released Alena to fold up the letter he still held, slipping it into his pocket.

"Your father, he is well?" He asked, absently stroking a hand down her hair.

{{Just putting this back up here...}}

Alena smiled happily and proudly as Ambrose complimented her school, her home. She was very glad that he liked it. She wasn't surprised, but still very relieved that he liked it.

When Alena heard Ambrose say that he'd prefer to study from her father, her grin got even bigger and she grew excited.

"That is wonderful!! I know father will love to teach you. He really liked you when you came to visit. He is an excellent teacher, and I am sure he will let you have the guest house that you stayed in previously all to yourself. Also, with our pendants, we can visit each other whenever we want! We can have meals together, walk through the gardens, and I will be able to visit home much more often, using the excuse of checking on your studies and make sure you are enjoying yourself."

Alena winked up at Ambrose and then giggled. "Shall we go there now so you can get settled?"

At Ambrose's question about her father, she paused. "Well, I believe he is alright... I will have to explain the clone situation to him and Mother. I know they will understand and come to view me as another daughter since I am still their daughter. I will simply be viewed as Lin's twin, which I essentially am. I will probably talk with them tonight after everyone has gone to bed."

So, this was Bai Ching.

He left the area where Lin and he had arrived in and wandered around the school, debating on whether or not to go in.
What if he saw a teacher and they questioned him? He really didn't want to make such a fuss and, without Lin around to basically talk for him, that was the inevitable.

His jaw tightened. He was becoming submissive. Not good.

Dymetri forced himself to stride into the school and wander the hallways, if only to just give him something to do.

Ambrose merely nodded, his brow creasing in thought. Her own parents were unaware of this Lin's-Alena's-existence.

"Perhaps I should...try and help explain?" He offered, though he didn't know how much good he would be, seeing as he was probably more clueless than anyone else.

Ever went over to her easel and then smiled at Yuri. "I don't think anyone's skill here is excellent. This class is for fun. Yeah, we should learn something, too, but you should really just relax and do what comes to your mind."

She started putting on her smock. "You might want to get a smock, too."

Alena thought about it. She did like the idea of Ambrose coming with her back home. It would make sense since he needed to go there, anyway.

"Well... It might be a good idea for you to come with me, actually. The explanation to my parents might make more sense if you, the reason behind my creation, was there at my side."

A strange mist began to form that afternoon on the leaves of a tree just outside the school. Thick black droplets of unnatural origin were beginning to coalesce on the branches, leaves, and even within the bark of the tree.
The tree began to vibrating, at first unnoticeable to all but the most keen of ears, but soon, as the moments began to pass, the tone ascended into the audible range. It was a sound not unlike cicadas in the summertime, and soon the entirety of the tree was shaking from the vibrations. With one final and much sharper tone, the black gunk was thrust out into a large pool encircling the roots of the tree. It seemingly began to pull itself together, piling into a rising slurry of sludge on the lawn. At first glance, it was nothing more than gunk; but with a second glance, it could be seen to be taking on a humanoid form. The fingers and hands writhed up and slowly broke away, the arms following suit as the legs and chest took on more definition. What would be the head began to rise up and shake off the excess material, the nose and jawline coming into view immediately. The neck thinned, and the shape began to stretch to a great height.

Stepping forward, a single purple eye opened on the right side of the face; the figures lips parted with a struggle before muttering speech.
"I need a towel..."

Love skidded down the hall, Doom having remembered why Doom had been chasing Love in the first place. That, and Love had had every intention of attending class in nothing but the boxers and very long tee shirt that Love was wearing at the time. Love twisted down several of the school's corridors, Love's body contorting in some fairly inhuman ways as Love did so. Love could hear Doom close behind, Doom slightly slower since Doom didn't run on all fours like Love did. Love looked up and down, before jumping on top of a shelf, curling up in a tight ball to become as unnoticeable as possible.

Doom skidded down the hall too, although she stopped before she hit the wall, unlike her sister who had raised her back legs and slightly run along it. She scanned the hallway quickly, seeing nothing but a bunch of shut doors and... well, that was it actually. She kept moving, wondering if she'd misjudged the hallway she'd seen her sister had run down, not noticing the subtle scratches on the wall. Her sister was a little to damn fast for her own good. It was going to get her in trouble some day... and she'd likely be right there beside her for the punishment.

After a few minutes, Love thought Love heard Doom move on from the hallway, so Love poked her head out from the top shelf. Love didn't see Doom in the hallway, so Love popped herself out of the shelves. "Mrow," Love said, meowing and purring with a satisfied nod. Love could really care less about Love's class, the class was easy. Love missed being at home, with Mommy and Daddy....

Love was quickly distracted from the sad thought by someone turning down the hall Love was in. For a moment, Love thought it was Doom, but the new person smelled different. So the new person wasn't Doom. Love's eyes lit up at the prospect of tormenting meeting someone new, so Love took off down the hallway at full speed, narrowly missing slamming straight into the person, slamming straight into a big pile of janitorial supplies against the wall. "Mrowww..." Love said, Love's eyes nearly forming little anime spirals.

Yuri grined, "I suppose that is a good idea." he laughed as he went and grabbed a smock. Putting it on with relative ease he made his way back to his seat and sat down. "So... uh what is the subject for the piece?" he asked with a grin realizing he had no idea.

Dymetri raised an eyebrow. Some cat thing was in front of him.

"Hey there," he smiled, placing a polite hand on Love's shoulder. "Um."

He looked down the hall at both sides, wondering if this... girl.. was walking around here by herself. Maybe looking for something to do wasn't the best of ideas.

"What's your name?" He was being painfully polite. Did this thing speak or just meow?

Love stood up from the pile of the janitorial equipment that, a moment ago, was completely neat and tidy. Love shook a bit of toilet paper off of Love's foot before Love padded over on all to the new person. The new person was a boy, which Love hadn't seen that many of since Love had been at Bai Ching. Not that Love had seen that many people, Love liked to make friends, but Love & Doom hadn't been away from home before, so Love had been slightly shy. If you call barreling into random strangers at high speeds shy.

Love meowed slightly when the person put the person's hand on Love's shoulder, nuzzling the hand slightly. Love liked to be petted, and Love rarely got petted at Bai Ching because the people seemed to think that petting Love was weird. Love didn't see why, Daddy petted Love and Doom and Mommy whenever Love or Doom or Mommy wanted to. She barely heard him ask what her name was. "Love is Kate," Love responded, nodding slightly. "But People call Love Love." Love saw nothing wrong or remotely confusing about the way Love talked, even though the way Love talked made introductions rather confusing.

Love's tail twitched back and forth as Love's attention was taken by a floating particle of dust in the air. Love brought Love's hand up, batting around the particle. If not for the reason that the Catgirl had the figure of a 16 year old, more people might guess that Love was a lot younger than Love seemed. Not that many thought about the fact, and none would probably ever what Love's actual age was. Not without several billion hints, or the catgirl blurting Love's age out on Love's own... which Love was libel to do if Doom wasn't around to prevent Love and the topic was brought up.

Thankfully to Urals greatest relief, his stuff was left untouched by his tormenting roommate. When eh got there was tired, his clothes were mostly damp, not wet enough for him to change, but still damp, so he stripped down and tried to find some fairly fresh ones to replace them. He had to pay a visit to the laundry mate again it seemed. His job was a dirty one, and it showed.

He found a clean dress shirt and matching pants, and once re-clothed he reclined on his bed with a heavy sigh. Guess it was time to check in.
He was late already.

The air was warm against his skin, and he could smell the grass that was crushed under his steady foot falls as he approached the lake side. The area looked like something from a movie, with the mist hanging low on the surface of the water. The trees were reflected in the murky water like wavering shadows with long snaky fingers extending to the sky.
Crouching down by the edge of the water, Ural bent his head down low to look into his reflection. His brightly colored visage looked back at him, ripples making him look like he was swimming again. Suddenly his face changed in features and color pallet and before he had a moment to react it transformed into another person! His brother!
“Manou!”
The elder merman’s face rose right out of the reflection of his younger sibling who moved back for him to pull his torso out of the water. Where Ural was greens and blues with the faintest highlights of purple, Manou was all indigo, cerulean and blackened navy.
He regarded the youth softly before smiling and ruffling his frock of tropically colored hair.

“You’re late.” He said simply, the slightest tone of disapproval lacing his voice.
Manou’s voice sounded a lot like their fathers in these later years, deep and rumbling. He fit the role of Lake Guardian so well, it was like he was born to become one. It was hard to believe they were even related!

“I didn’t mean to be! Honest. It was my stupid roommate. He said he was going to wreck my stuff ! I had to –"

“He’s still giving you trouble? I thought you would have sorted that out by now.” Manou crossed his muscled arms over his scarred chest, and tilted his head to one side which made the shell charms in his right ear tinkle against his shoulder.

“Yeeeah…Look, it’s not my fault! The guy is a real jerk! I think he enjoys tormenting me!” he groaned while sitting back on his haunches in the moist grass.
