Rurouni Lord Sesshomaru
-Played by: Lord_Rurouni_Kenshin4510
-Name: Lord Vladimir Adrian Kenshin
-Age: looks 22 (is actually 35,892,308,754,814,526,355 years old [ a randomly generated number!])
-Race: He is a Pure Blood Inu Daiyoukai (Great Dog Demon)/ Great Vampire Demon.
Main Vampire Guise
True Humanoid Form
Dayoukai Human Form
-Physique:He almost always has an indifferent and uncaring exterior, a stately, serious, but nonchalant looking demon, who always seems to mean business. In true form, dark jaw tattoos and a cresent moon on his face...
Seductive, feminine-like frame, with a handsome medium build, only using his full extent of Daemonic powers only when needed. Only when he is provoked or under heavy stress does he change forms unintentionally. One of his most favored "spirit" forms is recognized as a massive, lean white dog, with endlessly flowing fluff. Another rarely spotted form of his is a great black, dragon-like 'daemon-god' , with molten hot skin. This particular form is extremely rare, as it consumes great energy, and causes a 'galactic unbalance', due to mass relevance.
-Height: 6'2"
-Hair Style: appears vibrant red or simple black, always long; true form: silver-white
-Eye Color: appears dark crimson, true form: golden yellow
-Clothing/Equipment: In the public eye, he always wears clothes in some form of black, unless traveling alone or in private quarters. Then he wears a white yukata under a metal breastplate, and has a large "tail/boa" of fluff on his right shoulder. His gold wedding ring is concealed beneath a gauntlet or glove on his left hand.
-Weapons: Toukijin- An extremely large, demonic, claymore sword from Hell, meant to be a two-hander, but used only with one hand by Kenshin. A mere flick of the wrist gives it the ability to cut and harm enemies without physical contact. Usually it shoots beams of blue light, and when Vlad Kenshin utilizes its full potential it comes out in the form of parallel blue trails of energy. This Sword can only be wielded by Kenshin, for it's demonic aura is enough to possess even a lesser demon. Also carries Two diamond bladed 9-foot long katanas that glow with a fiery-crimson aura, eight identical hidden daggers, two 30cm very heavy Ameritech II Magnum revolvers (almost never used-can't remember when I actually have used them), one wakizashi (weapon when the Katana was unavailable, worn night and day)
-Personality: This character is a bit of a mix between Himura Kenshin of 'Rurouni Kenshin', and Sesshoumaru of 'Inuyasha', with a slight dash of and Old English and Romanian accent. Rather 'proper' and 'elegant' seeming. He often appears aloof and indifferent, and rarely shows any emotions other than slight annoyance or dissatisfaction. He thinks highly of himself and is sometimes cruel to others, though he is protective of his minions. He cares little for others, and thinks of humans in particular as mere mortals that are, while at times amusing, ultimately expendable. Rarely does he result to romantics and the like, but when he does, women fall hard for him. With the ambition to walk the path of supreme conquest, he desires ultimate power, even at the expense of others. He believes that struggle is the only way for survival....deep down inside, another half debates over things. Not often showing it, he does care for certain people and things, but is hard-overcome and plays to look strong. He maintains a cool, uncaring exterior, sometimes temperamental.
-Biography: Unknown and still disputed (See Profile and Journal) His knowledge is vast and unknown- it's believed that he teaches his own philosophies...
-Special Skills: Mostly Unknown to many...
--Flight
he has the ability to float in the sky or ride upon a sparkling dust cloud. Should he choose to do so for an extended period, the pant-legs of his hakama become ephemeral flowing masses-- similar to how one would visualize the wind-driven cloak of a ghost.
--Supersonic speed
The ability to move faster than the eye can see, both on land and through the air. When he does this he leaves behind shadow-like images.
--Longevity
Being a daiyōkai, Vlad Kenshin does not age the way humans do. He has been around for at least eons! (refer to randomly generated number...)
--Immunity
Kenshin is immune to diseases, poisons, and gases that can paralyze or kill both humans and weaker yōkai. His greatest resistance seems to be towards holy and divine powers; his resistance to purification powers was so strong that he was able to enter Mt. Hakurei, despite its purification barrier (which was the most powerful barrier in the entire world as its reach extended throughout the surrounding area of entire mountain), without being purified and was only slightly weakened to the degree he was unable to perform his signature kenatsu attack. Another example of his strong body seems to come from Yokomota's inability to absorb him. As Kenshin blasted pieces of Yokomota’s flesh, those same pieces wrapped themselves around him. Then Yokomota reconnected himself with the pieces of his flesh that covered Kenshin and attempted to absorb him to no avail; as when Kenshin broke out unmarked from the absorbing process. Most of this happens because Kenshin's aura emanates around his body in perfect "completion", due to his demonic purity.
--Teleportation
ability to morph into a ball of energy and move himself (and small amounts of other material, including other living beings) over great distances in a short amount of time.
--Daiyōkai
As the son of a daiyōkai, and Hell, Vlad Kenshin has inherited similar levels of power and thus is a daiyōkai in his own right; endowed with heightened senses, intelligence, strength, and a myriad of yōkai powers. While he usually appears to be a very handsome human bearing splendid clothing and armor, he can transform into his true form at will. As he transforms he is either surrounded in a bright crimson aura or has a tornado circling around him. His eyes then take on a bright red color and yōkai marks on his body widen and become more apparent; the strips on his cheeks which are usually smooth become jagged and change into a somewhat fiercer color. It is similar to InuYasha during his yōkai transformations, however, Vlad Kenshin transforms much further due to his yōkai blood and becomes a gigantic, crimson eyed, acid-breathing canine with white fur. In this form, his nature changes to adopt an animal-like instinct. His “Dokkassou” attack is released in his saliva and spread like an acidic aroma that melts anything nearby, and he doesn't lose the massive speed he had in his human form; he also uses his claws for the attack.
--Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū
one he's often seen performing with is sword is
Hiten-mitsurugi Ryu,known as "Supersonic Sword Style", is a fictional ancient sword style that is said to pit one against many. It is a sword art that is passed from master to apprentice, its masters inheriting the name of Hiko Seijūrō. Kenshin states that the sword style was created in the Sengoku Period of Japan's history
The philosophy of Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū is that a practitioner must protect those around him; he may use that lethal force for the protection of the people. When a student of Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū understands this, he is ready to complete his training.
Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū's principles are based on utilizing godlike speed, or shinsoku, and precision to deal powerful blows that usually bring down foes with one shot. The swordsman must also be able to read techniques at an amazing pace as well as interpret emotions as a form of clairvoyance in order to accurately predict what an opponent will do. Combining those two elements with the speed and the precision allows Kenshin and Hiko to subdue opponents before they ever act. That is the power of Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū.
The one drawback to the style on a whole is that it is a physically demanding style, only a person of peak athletic ability is able to maintain it. For Vlad Kenshin, this is not problem. Kenshin mastered the Battōjutsu style, (note the name Battōsai) perfecting all parts of it, including all of its weaknesses.
-Vlad Kenshin's Sesshomaru-borrowed adaptations when in this form:
--Poison Claws
Sesshomaru's claws release deadly acidic poison which can melt flesh. Sometimes he uses it like InuYasha uses his Exorcising Claws of Steel (Iron Reaver, Soul Stealer. English) attack, but he can also use it in the form of a green attack that looks like he’s spraying acid. (Toxic Flower Claw in the English adaption of the anime)
--Whip of Light
Sesshomaru can generate a thin, whip like strand of yellow energy from his fingertips that can slice through almost anything. This attack was only in the anime and not in the manga, possibly as an alternate way of getting his hands on Tessaiga in one part of the anime. The whip also displays characteristics of poison akin to the burning effect it has on contact, possibly an extension of his claw attack. ( Energy Whip in the English adaption of the anime)
--Mokomoko-sama
The fur on Sesshomaru's shoulder can extend it to great lengths, and use it to whip or constrict people. (there is clearly a beginning and an ending to his mokomoko-sama) both ends of the fluff are seen. Also, it bears a striking resemblance to the fur that separates Tessaiga’s blade from the hilt; this isn’t surprising as both have a common origin. Sesshomaru's mother also has a mokomoko boa, that had split into two.
--Kenatsu
Translated as Sword Pressure, it is Tōkijin's ability to cut and harm enemies without physical contact. In the beginning, it takes the form of a rain of needle-like energy which deals moderate damage to foes. Later, as Sesshomaru fully masters the sword it is released as a blue wave of energy that completely disintegrates the adversary. The strength of this attack depends on how it is unleashed by Sesshomaru. Usually it shoots beams of blue light, and when Sesshomaru utilizes its full potential it comes out in the form of parallel blue trails of energy similar to how InuYasha’s Kaze no Kizu is released. Shortly before the Tōkijin broke he managed to shatter the Kongousouha spears that Mōryōmaru launched at him. Also he managed to break off part of Mōryōmaru's armored shell using Kenatsu. This is especially noteworthy since he was angry at the time, and is the only character in the series to break the shell using sheer force. InuYasha managed to break it with the Dragon-Scaled Tessaiga, but that is different since it absorbs yōki. In Sesshomaru's first battle with Mōryōmaru, it is implied that Tōkijin's kenatsu ability is not just based off of Tōkijin's base power. It is implied that Sesshomaru can mix in some of his youki in the kenatsu blasts.
--Souryuuha
This attack is unique to the third and fourth InuYasha movies, appearing neither in the manga nor the anime series. It is a very powerful move surpassing the level of InuYasha's Bakuryūha. When Souryuuha is unleashed in the third movie, thick arcs of blue lightning stab the earth and carry their immense destructive force to Sesshomaru's opponent. In the fourth movie it is interesting to note that the energy released by Souryuuha resolves into the shape of a dragon right before destroying the enemy (in keeping with the attack's name). This has led to speculation that a fang of Ryukottsusei's could have been used at some point in reforging Tokijin. This would explain the blue lightning energy it fires when sesshomaru uses dragon strike as well as his trip to where the great dragon was sealed in the 2nd season endings. Dragon Strike is unique among the various sword techniques of the series in that, unlike moves like the Kaze no Kizu, Kongōsōha, and Meido Zangetsuha; Sesshomaru is capable of performing Souryuuha with both Tōkijin and Tenseiga - rather than being an ability of either sword, it seems that it is instead a manifestation of Sesshomaru's own youki, requiring a sword only as a conduit. Tōkijin initially proves to be less than ideal in that respect, unable to bear up to repeated uses of the ability as it is "only an oni's fang"; however the sword eventually strengthens such that it can perform the attack with no ensuing refractory period. Another unique fact about this attack is that Sesshomaru can use without actually having to swing the sword, but by simply holding it horizontally and commanding the strike. Though it is unproven, Souryuuha is possibly a modified version of his kenatsu, as InuYasha's Bakuryuuha is a modified version of his Kaze no Kizu.
--Meidou Zangetsuha
With the reforged Tenseiga, Sesshomaru slashes at an enemy and creates an opening to the world of the dead. While at the beginning the wave takes the shape of a crescent resembling a crescent moon, Tōtōsai claimed that eventually through training, Sesshomaru would be able to make the opening a complete circle resembling the full moon. Sesshomaru's Meidou Zangetsuha was mastered with the presence of InuYasha's Tessaiga.
