As much as I believe that freedom of Expression is a great thing there are some reasonable limits or rules if you will. Rules I plan to uphold without exception so without further ado, here are a few simple rules to remember when posting in the Shikamaru Fan Guild.
I love fiction (both writing and reading it) and I hope to see some really great pieces of work posted here but please remember to:
Make it as tasteful as possible and ALWAYS post it in a thread clearly labeled as either:
MA = PWP Lemons, Plot Lemons, Non-Con (But I hope to see none of this) Continuous swearing (on par with Inuyasha-san's)
M = Adult situations such as detailed limes, violent death or dark fics.
T = Limes and lemons written with only vague details (I would perfer death fics and dark fics to be placed under T also)
PG13 = Borderline... vulagar language or implied lemon
PG = Mild to no warning required (eg. rated just to be safe)
G = No warning at all.
I personally don't mind it... I don't really like it but I don't hate it either. All Yaoi stuff goes in the Yaoiholics Anonymous subforum. Anyone posting it here will be warned once before I boot them out. Don't like it sorry thems the breaks ya'll.
Here a short key if any of my shorthand confused you:
Lime = "Tame" Sex scene (eg. petting or making out decribed in great detail)
Lemon = "Detailed" Sex scene (eg. Sex described in full embarrassly clear detail)
Non-Con = Non consentual Sex (eg. rape, plain and simple... I REALLY don't want to see this... it can be mentioned for plot or character development but I really don't like it.)
Death Fics = This is simple... Shikamaru or a main canon character dies. (Kami Forbid! )
Dark Fics = Are just fictions with a dark feel to them (Commonly angsty and often turn into Death Fics)
I use them all the time and I don't mind others doing so but I will state a few rules for using them in Fanfictions (the same rule apply to roleplaying too) Please post your original character's profile in the Profiles thread before using them in a fiction.
