Now that I think about it, it was a domino effect sort of thing. I got into Poison after watching Rock Of Love, so I started watching Vh1 Classic for Poison vids and such. Then, I saw Motley for the first time on the 40 Greatest Metal Songs (Live Wire at #13 if I remember right), then the vids for Girls, Girls, Girls, and Saints Of Los Angeles, and Dr. Feelgood on the Greatest Songs Of The 80s, and I was like, "This is amazing". And so my life began... xd
People say I'm more demure than the usual Motley (or glam metal) fan. I just look it, though. I was on the bus going on a field trip with my choir, and my friend says something about how one of the actors in the twilight movie has the same birthday as her, and I hold up my fists and say, "Nikki Sixx's birthday is two days after mine!" (it also happened to be the day after it, too) and my choir teacher looks over at me and says, "Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue?" as if that was actually a question, and I go, "Of COURSE!" and he turns to his wife and says, "Does she look like a Motley Crue junkie to you?" and she goes, "No, not at all!" I looked at the floor, embarrassed at all the people that are now examining me, and realize they're right. I was wearing a red sweater with a white silk cami, dark flare jeans, a white jacket and a santa hat. (Christmas gig. Only reason I'd ever wear seasonally themed clothing.) So, that weekend, I bought myself a leather jacket and a tight, red leopard print tank top.
