[K]rio ♪ Love Me, Hate Me The wonderful morning stood peaceful by the delicate daybreak sun. The green grass was brighter in Omnigenus's Medius Park than ever before and the sapphire sky was just magnificent. The sun was quite bright today and had shined throughout the beautiful park landscape. Near one of the many scattered meadows throughout the park sat a very bored looking Lepus by the name of Krio.
Half lidded golden eyes stared out blankly, as Krio's green and blue ears tilted forward. Blinking lightly the Lepus bent down crouching only to bring forth his one of his front paws to lightly swat in interest at a nearby flower. Krio seemed to watch in amazement how the flower flowed gently back and forth, obviously he was the type that to joy in the smaller things in life. After a while though Krio's interest in the flower began to fade. Having exhausted his entertainment with pushing the flower back and forth the blue green Lepus stood back up.
Staring down at the bright petals of the flower he had been toying with earlier Krio began to wonder what he should do today. A swim might be nice, the Park had many lakes he could choose from after all. But, alas he didn't feel up to gettin himself wet just yet, besides it was much to boring to swim by one self. A sudden moment of inspiration hit him and he smirked to himself. If he wanted a playmate then he would just have to lure one in then...
Looking up into the sky Krio opened his mouth, and from his maw emerged a beautiful song. It was with this song that Krio hoped to receive some attention for any of the many passing Daruma's within his vicinity. Closing his eyes Krio poured his heart into the song hoping his voice would be heard.
♪ "You are my flower, that's blooming in the mountain for me You are my flower, that's blooming there for me
The grass is just as green, the sky is just as blue The day is just as bright, the birds are singing too
The air is just as pure, the sunlight just as free And nature seems to say, it's all for you and me
When summertime is gone and snow begins to fall You can sing this song and say to one and all
So wear a happy smile and life will be worthwhile Forget your tears but don't forget to smile." ♪
The melody in which he sung was sweet and comforting. It was a beautiful song meant to attract another like a flower might attract a bee. Opening his eyes slowly all Krio could do now is hope that someone had been listening.

Pale color lips split meaningfully into a grand yawn, forcing the Tigris to stir himself awake. Slowly, progress was made along these lines. Smacking at his dry tongue in a bored manner, Coopers ears twitched as garbled sounds entered them at a melodic rate. A small hand raising quickly to rub the sleep from his golden-citrus hued eyes, the fog on his mind soon cleared as well...the odd sound in the garden had become identified. Tail swinging lazily as his legs dangled from his perch, he scanned the peaceful gardens for its source. Someone was singing.
Usually, the open space serenaded his restful spells with the gentle shifting of the trees, the nearby chatter of passing Daruma, or perhaps the burble of the water in the moat being disturbed. Clearly, someone was calling attention to themselves...and needless to say he was curious. In no time, the figure emitting the serenade was located not too far from his post. Cooper quickly stifled a chuckle, and with skill dropped from the eaves onto the plush lawn. His bright coloring really set him apart from the earthy and green hues the park was made of, but that was of no consequence to the Tigris. It's not like he was trying to hide.
"So are you the type to sing for your supper then?" He inquired right off the bat, plodding over lightly towards the other male. This Daruma was of garden tones, his color palate very much at home in the park. "Dude, you got the lungs for it." His tail still swished back and forth, showing his contentment in the current conversation. This was a new fellow, so perhaps introductions were in order? ....after his question was answered Cooper decided.

[K]rio ♪ Love Me, Hate Me Krio's golden hued eyes opened to himself staring at another Daruma who had come lured in by his song as he had intended to do. Krio smiled inwardly to himself, happy that his song had done it's job and brought forth a possible playmate. Krio's ears tilted forward as he inspected the other before him, his tail swishing lightly behind him as well.
It wasn't hard to miss this Daruma, his vibrant orange, cream, and black tones stood out amounst the green and blue backround of the park. Krio could already tell he could have a lot of fun with the Tigris, and he was much happier to see that he was a male as well. Krio always felt slightly akward when he was in a female's presence, he much more prefered male company.
Hearing the other comment on his singing made him smirk lightly. "Not usually...but if you're the one offering to take me out for supper I wouldn't mind singing a song especially for you," Krio said with a wink moving close enough to lift his tail and run it gently across the other's chin teasingly. It was obvious he was in a playful mood. This sort of interaction with Krio wasn't anything new, this was just how the Lepus was. He enjoyed seeing other's surprised or blushing faces. While he was often teasing and more intimate with males he did tend to get shy around the females. If one saw both sides they may even think that he was perhaps a different person, for it was hard to see him both lights. Krio's nature was split, happy and teasing with males, shy and reserved with females. It was obvious why he preferred male company, after all it is way much more fun.

Before the curved tip of the opposing male's tail lifted from his jaw, Cooper's darkened mitts flashed up with speed almost unseen. The Tigris was a bit of everything in a battle, but when it came down to it, he was considerably fast for his particular breed of Daruma. Looping small fingers around the ornamental ring encircling the appendage, he halted the vibrantly colored Lepus' advance. Eyes catching a fiery glare just before he blinked, Cooper's lightly swishing tail came to a dead halt. "Not cool dude." His head shook a bit, the seemingly extra fluffy fur wagging a moment later in agreement.
Letting the peculiar fellow's tail free from his grasp, he took a moment to paw at his own pointed tail tip balancing his finger on the beveled edge. Wagging it behind him, almost seemingly tucking it away as a armament of sort, he cleared his throat. "I'm not one for the theater..." His sentence momentarily interrupted while a bug of considerable interest to him flew past. Following its trail, he soon blinked back but found his conveyance unfinished. "..so if you're hungry look for someone else to talk to....er, sing FOR." A small part of his personality that almost seemed in tribute to his cat-like appearance. However it was just pure fascination that compelled him to watch the passerby. It was the same for this garden pastel male he guessed. Odd for one to just....sing.
Taking in a particularly deep breath, the reconstituted atmospheric air did him good. Cooper's ears rose and his lips twitched again. Fighting it, he soon lost and gave into another larger-than-life yawn showing off some fanged dental work. Cooper enjoyed his naps, but most of all he enjoyed excitement. Battle was that outlet, but when the local arena shut down he was left high and dry, just itching for a fight. However outside the walls, the Daruma led a peaceful life, one with rules he was compelled to abide by. Today was just another day, and while he appreciated it he sometimes was tired of the same-old routine. Save for the odd local, as he found his eyes meeting with that of the strange Lepus' once more.
That still didn't change that fact that it was an exceptional day in the park.

[K]rio ♪ Love Me, Hate Me If Cooper's restraint on his tail was a warning, Krio didn't seem to take it to heart at all. Instead Krio merely grinned to himself letting Cooper grasp him. Something like that wouldn't shake Krio from teasing the other again, it was only a matter of time. If anything at all Cooper had only increased Krio's interest in him, the Lepus always did love a good challenge. Krio wasn't quite so easy to scare off, while he did not have the strength that Tigris' have he did have a lot of skill in being quick on his feet. It was only natural for a Lepus after all, they were the fastest of the Daruma's.
When the other let go of his tail he just let it slowly fall to the ground swishing in contentment. Krio watched Cooper with a new added interest as the other began his sentence only to leave it half unfinished as he became preoccupied with a passing bug. When he finally noticed this and finished Krio couldn't help but begin to laugh. "Aw come on, don't be like that! It was only a harmless joke. I couldn't help myself since you asked that particular question," Krio cooed lightly hoping to ease the tension in the air and bring it back to more friendly terms.
Laying down Krio rolled onto his back exposing his belly as he reached towards the sky with his own blue hands as if they too had become one with the sky above them. "I sing because I enjoy it...well that and I was slightly bored," Krio chuckled lightly before rolling once more so he was right side up again. "Don't you ever sing?" Krio contemplated out loud as he looked the other over. No he supposed not...he seemed to be more the fighter type as most Tigris' were.
Well it wasn't like Krio was one to judge, all he wanted to do right now was find a companion to play with, and despite Cooper's attitude he bet the other was looking for something fun to do as well. That thought was soon affirmed as Cooper took a large yawn. Seeing an opportunity and not wanting the other to leave just yet Krio spoke up. "You know there isn't many Daruma's by the lakes this time of day. How about we go for a swim? I'll race ya..." Krio grinned as he lowered his top half to the ground his butt and tail waving in the air as if he was ready to sprint at a moment's notice. "That is if you think you can beat me," Krio added taunting the other more as a means to interest him more in playing along. You Can't Resist Me ♪

Coopers amber eyes lit to the sky for a moment, in mock regard to the Lepus' comment, and he stifled a sigh in his throat. Perhaps he'd really set himself up for that one, but he refused to resign into that thought completely if he could avoid it. Failure was something he didn't fare comfortably with. Wit...ah, he'd faced this before in training and not found himself content with such a conveyance either...rather it almost gave him a headache of sorts. A small hand reaching up to scrub at his toughened scalp for a moment of idle behavior. Live in the moment, was more of a motto he could abide by...although again it wasn't something that completely settled deep within him. Lazy days were also a good friend of the great-warrior-to-be.
Since his birth, he'd still been finding out scores of information about himself, which made him more content with who he was...despite being alone. The darkly striped Tigris also was able to affirm another reply to the second question asked him, due to this knowledge already stored. "Dude, I don't sing. Even when I am bored...it just seems like it would bore me more." Honesty was another part of him, that seemed to chip off the block in big, and almost invisible pieces. This was one of the really honest moments. However, another suggestion from the evidently amused newcomer would make him avoid the topic placed on the table.
The young Daruma gave off the vibes of one that was flat out bored, and needed to fuel his own entertainment by way of Coopers disposal. Even his current actions and disposition affirmed this. Not quite content to the play the 'game' leading to the particular activity of swimming, he smoothed out his chest fluff out of nervous habit. Tail whipped about, it curiously curled around his right ankle, almost as if anchoring him to the spot. "I'm sure I could beat you, however I choose not to swim." He stated firmly, although slightly bent inward in a seemingly protective manner. His eyes, which usually made solid contact with anyone he spoke to, could not look at Krio's golden gaze directly. Blinking for a moment, his tail whipped away and he stood taller that he'd been sitting before in a hunched manner. "Swimming is a silly game." He put it down more, and tried to change the subject. "Wrestling, now that's a game for a REAL dude to play."
He was aware of how lame, and unprepared it sounded coming from his mouth. Still, Cooper was NOT going to admit that he couldn't swim if he could avoid it entirely.
