Wynn was still comparing the number of faces he knew to the number of faces he didn't know when he heard a happy voice burst out near him. He only had moments to redirect his caramel eyes before he was pulled and swallowed into the arms of the only other dark-skinned boy in the group. Pressed against the other's chest, Wynn managed to reply in a series of surprised squeaks and grunts as he tried to pipe back at his fellow Native American.

"Cane! Brother! Tight! Crush me, you crush me!" the Inuit managed to bark in happy reply. His English became brutally massacred in the initial surprise. He wiggled his arms around Canaan's waist so he could return the hug. "Glad to see you! I am nervous. So many people."

Wynn was happy that someone finally came out of the group. He wouldn't have engaged in conversation if it weren't for that. Wynn wasn't the type. Things changed, though, as soon as he was pulled into something he was familiar with. This time it was Canaan, and Wynn opened up almost immediately. He found someone to tether himself to so now he wouldn't drown.

"What are you doing all this time?"

"Shut your face, you know I call you Sparky because you set things on fire and blow them up. Your hair is more blond then mine, and I don't like being called by nicknames. My name is more than good enough to be used when addressing me."

Micajah forced a smile of sorts as Scyeth clapped down on his shoulder, and he was about to turn and say something to the Native, even if he was a mere greeting, when the person in question walked away to speak with someone else. It caused a small ball to drop in the blond's stomach, nothing really major, and for a moment a brief flicker of sadness mirrored with anger flashed across his attempted calm features.

I shouldn't have come over here.

He did his best to keep his face up and was about to say something else when the sound of Wynn's voice caught his ears, right away brightening his expression, though Micajah had to stop when he saw that Cane had gotten to the smaller boy first. There was no room over there now for him. His eyes fell.

"So Scyeth, how...have you been?"

At least he should try and make conversation here.
