[[ For Kaya and Mori. :} ]]

Reiyan had dumped him here, but Naeledo didn't seem to see anything wrong with his master going off, muttering something about Miss Lady, or Eirian as Reiyan referred to her as. He now sat in the grass, a tiny little smile on his face as he watched a pink poring plop by.

"I hope Master doesn't come back with more bruises on his head again. I don't think that's good for him." The Blessed mused thoughtfully, picking a blade of grass and twirling it in between his equally green fingers.

He was a mellow creature, and this kind of relaxation appealed to him. He sometimes preferred it when Reiyan left him, actually. It meant he didn't have to worry about the all-too troubled minstrel, because with Reiyan there was always a lot to worry about, whether it involved trying to protect him from scary fire demons or taking care of Reiyan's concussions when Miss Lady hit his head with lots and lots of books.

"This tree is boring," the crimson whiff murmured, flickering slightly and hovering above his tablet as he watched eagerly for Moriko to come out of a nearby shop. She did tend to browse and chat, and that always made their shopping trips extra long and extra not fun, at least to Durem. He couldn't stand staying in one place, especially one as uneventful and unimportant as this. "Let's go look for stones or something."

Stay by this tree, she said, and I'll be right back. The usual mantra - don't wander, you'll get lost, don't talk to strangers, don't eat anything that wasn't checked by Mori first, don't leave Durem behind, and the list went on and on until the guardian was well out of sight.

"I know it is, but maybe we'll get a treat if we stay?" It was appealing to him, anyway. Durem didn't much care for rewards and Cumulus knew it, and he hated to see his 'brother' so upset. The blue Blessed was conflicted, and he clutched the red tablet to his robes, trying to think of something. Mori wouldn't notice if they wandered off for a little while... right?

"But I want to see what's over there," Durem extended a plasma-like hand towards the patch of green a little ways away, where the grass rustled with the breeze and the trees looked more like they held an adventure. "Come on!" His whine was loud and Cumulus saw no way out of it. Picking himself up, Cumulus started walking, constantly looking over his shoulder, then forward, then down at his floating brother, and he couldn't help the grin that crawled onto his face at the exhilaration of sneaking away. It was all just fun and games, after all.

"Look! Look! A Poring, Lus', get it!" Durem stretched and flailed as the little creature hopped past, and Cumulus - staying a good few paces behind it - laughed and held fast to the tablet. "What if it attacked, Durem?" He raised a brow, and the whiff shifted and let the Poring pass on, agreeing with his brother for the moment. Normally Cumulus wouldn't mind a little poring, but he had Durem to watch out for, and he wanted to do his guardian proud.

"We could take it. Maybe he'd help." Cumulus was confused for a moment before he looked up from the red Blessed to the seated green one, and he passed a little hand through soft, fluffy hair. They hadn't seen very many others, and Cumulus was reaffirmed in his belief that leaving the tree may have been a good idea. He took a few daring steps towards Naeledo and lifted his hand in a quick wave, Durem copying his movements and staring expectantly.

"Well hi there. Watcha doin' sitting there?" Cumulus ventured, curiosity overwhelming him. Maybe he liked to be on his own, like Durem (if he could be fully without his tablet anyway), or maybe he was waiting like they were supposed to be.

Nael's cerise eyes flicked up as the other Blessed approached and he offered the two an open and accepting smile. He himself hadn't really been fascinated in smashing the adorable little poring into jelly-like globs, however. The Bongun was, truthfully, much too peaceful to consider attacking the pink creature. Besides this, his master was in charge of many pets, including a good deal of porings. The Blessed saw them more as faithful creatures who would bounce around after you if you asked nicely and fed them an unripe apple.

"Hello," Nael greeted, still playing with the small piece of grass. "My master is busy, so he's letting me stay here and relax." The green, childlike creature chirped, delighted to be speaking to other Blessed.

"But I think Miss Lady is going to smack him in the head again today..." Naeledo looked crestfallen at the thougt.

"But... you know what?" His eyes gleamed as he made the quick decision to share otherwise confidential information. "Master says he and Miss Lady are married." The green-skinned Bongun declared, sounding scandalized.

"She hits him on the head everytime he says that though..." Yes, Nael was feeling quite chatty and full of irrelevant information today.

"What are you doing there?" He tilted his head, regarding Durem and Cumulus properly for the first time now that he was no longer wrapped up in his own sporadic worries.

Cumulus could only utter a simple 'Oh' before the green Bongun began spewing words and stories and things he didn't quite understand. Miss Lady? What was that? Married? Hitting? What? Cumulus scratched at the back of his neck, blue-green eyes widening as he tried to make sense of Naeledo. Durem blinked several times, brow furrowed, and hovered closer to Nael.

"What is--," Durem squeezed out before his brother shot him a glare, of which he reciprocated twice as scathingly. What is wrong with you, no doubt, was what Durem would have asked and Cumulus was not about to make excuses for that, no sir. Cumulus decided to quickly stow the information away (maybe it was somehow useful if another Blessed was offering it), perhaps ask Mori about it later. Looking back at the seated one, he grinned widely.

"Your name! Yeah, Mine's Cumulus, this is Durem," he continued, bowing shortly, then held up the tablet while Durem floated as far away as he could, ethereal arms crossed. "We're waiting for our guardian to get done shopping." He tilted his head towards the little shoppe in the distance past the tree they were at. "But we got bored and decided to come over here and look for stuff... and we found you!" A chuckle escaped his mouth as Durem explained away from them, no mention of disobeying their guardian's request, of course.

Naeledo smiled at the two, watching them carefully. It had never really occured to him that he'd never seen many other Blessed; Nael wasn't really the type to question how things were, but now that he thought about it... He really hadn't met very many. The thought excited the small creature, who was very unused to friends his own size, much less his own race.

"My name is Naeledo." The Bongun stated charmingly. "Lots of people call me Nael." He was quite obviously a simple creature. He didn't like to delve too deeply into things and he tended to be very optimistic.

"Oh!" He replied, his little grin growing so he was now smiling from ear to ear. "Well, it is very nice over here in the grass." He ran his small green hands back and forth over the blades of grass, giggling softly at the tickling sensation. Maybe Nael didn't seem to be the brightest crayon in the box, but it was very evident that he was kind and trusting.
