In some cases that could be considered a divine being, though I highly doubt that it is Enkidu which is binding her in place. Since that would imply an immense crossover problem, that wouldn't make any sense xP

yeah, I guess so. Enkidu is a noble phantasm that is unique to someone after all.
unless, enkidu is the origin of that chain, just like Gil has the origin of Excalibur or GaeBolg (I forgot the name).
anyway, which is the later, age of gods or true ancestors? I remembered they're mentioned that they've existed since the beginning..

Age of Gods is probably pre-ancestors.
Crimson moon probably arrived sometime between 500BC and 500AD and Arcueid was made around 1200 AD
