I don't understand what a currency system is....

Hey, chay, welcome to the guild! =^w^=
First, what you need to do, is post your profile in the Geisha/Maid/Maiko profile sticky, then wait for somone to place you in an Okiya.
Second, once you get placed, you start out as a maid in that Okiya. Maids are only allowed in the Okiay. It takes roughly 30 good-sized posts to become a Maiko.
Third, once you become a maiko, you sign up for classes and may start posting at the Tea House accompanied by your Older Sister. As a Maiko, you may go anywhere else unaccompanied. It takes 100 good-sized posts in the Tea House to become a Geisha.
And fourth, to become a Geisha, you must past a test given to you by your Okiya's Head Geisha. If you pass the test, you are a Geisha!! <33

I am currently waiting to be placed in a Okiya and I was wondering about how long does it take to be placed?Because I would like to get started as soon as posible. Thank you

I've been on hiatus from the guild and would like to get active again. I don't mind if I have to start from scratch. I was previously a maid in the Kanenokikyou Okiya.
What should I do to get re-started?
