February 18, 2019. 1452 hours.

"I do not want to start this entry off as a faery tale, but once upon a time, this land was very properous. The dry, baron lands you see now were inhabited by lushous green fields, trees as tall as the eye can see. And the deathy mountain off in the distance, well that used to be home of the worlds most refreshing hot springs. Unfortunately, everything came to hell.

One day, several years ago, the world was full a blooming. Elves lived in their wooded homes, completely undisturbed, Weres ran through the frozen hills on the horizon; Vampires in the caves of Eldern. Needless to say, the humans were still advancing in their sciences, completely unfathemed by the numerous threats from other folk. Angels fell from the sky, heeding the warning of God, trying to prevent the Human race from creating a serum that would allow them to live as long as the other races could. Needless to say, they engineered it anyway.

All hell broke loose. The serum worked, but a little too well. The human test subject, Aalderk Ghoyt, was not able to handle it was well as they thought he would. He grew to seven feet in one day. He was already a full grown man at six foot three inches. His muscle flourished, taking him to a weight of roughly one-hundred and fourty-three pounds, to well over one-eighty. Doctors could do nothing, and one day, God came down himself. The humans laughed at the sight, saying he looked nothing like the Catholic churches depicted him to be. As Judgement, God reigned his wrath on the human race. The were all wiped out, but a few survived.

Aalderk was one. He wandered to the Mountains of Heere, and plunged himself into the volcano on top. Spiraling down, he found himself awoken in Hell. Lucian blessed him as his heir, casting him farther into darkness itself. Together, they destroyed Medium Earth. They dried the rivers, scorched the woods and fields, and cast an everlasting tempest on top of Were Plateau. The world fell into ruin, as consequence of our actions.

We, tried. Arrogance is our nature, and well, we have been forced to deal with our consequences. As the last human known, I ask of you: Find the portals, find Aalderk, and find Lucian!

-Last entry of Doctor Tre..." (The last words are worn away from time.)

Manza walked slowly through the large, dead grasses of the Savannah of Fallen Dreams. The tall grass came up to his mid torso, and the angel sneezed. He couldn't believe that he wasn't even human, and still possessed his curse of spring allergies. The angel moved slowly through the tall grasses, stopping suddenly. He noticed a small, white butterfly moving through the air. It had been the first time that he had seen one, in over fourty years. The young boy rose slowly through the air, and glided over to the insect. He held out his hand, and the small butterfly landed softly in Manza's hand.

Allora soared over the Savannah of Fallen Dreams, her beautiful wings translucent against the night sky. She looked down sympathetically at the once-prosperous plain, dead plants and rotting carcasses dotting the landscape. She let out a deep sigh, her wings drooping with melancholy. This place used to be beautiful, Allora thought to herself. But now... I'm just glad I was trained to fly, so I don't have to walk through that wasteland. She shivered; not just at the thought of being out in the open, but at having to navigate through the dead grasses and whatever else laid at rest there. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw another angel walking solemnly through the Savannah. Allora froze, transfixed on the beautiful, near-flawless figure. I haven't encountered another living being in quite some time, much less one of my own kind, she thought, bewildered. She kept watching as the angel spotted a butterfly, then flew toward it, holding it gently in his hands. So he can fly, Allora thought. But the more important thing is the butterfly. I haven't seen one in ages! She slowly descended to the barren ground, her wings folding silently behind her as she stared at this rare sight.

Yuki walked through silent valley. Her padded feet patted lightly on the ground. She looked around at the mountains surrounding the valley. Her ears twitched hearing rocks move and crumble down the mountain sides. She looked in the direction she heard the rocks fall, but saw nothing. She heard more rocks slide down and she snapped her head in that direction too seeing nothing.
Her heart pounded in her chest. She was half way through the valley. On the other side to where she was headed was the Savannah of Fallen Dreams. She picked up her pace a little after hearing those rocks fall. Her ears twitched again hearing a snort. She thought she was going paranoid in this silent valley who had nothing or suppose to have nothing living there. Her heart pounded again her instincts saying 'Run you fool run!' but she didn't.
She looked in the direction of the snort barely missing a dark figure seeing it's leg. Her heart beat sped up and she picked up her pace once more speed walking. She then heard a disturbing sound. She turned around her eyes growing wide seeing five large dark animal like creatures jump down into the valley. She merely took a small step back her brain screaming 'Run!!' She stared at the creatures knowing she couldn't take them on by herself.
She simply stared blankly at them before one (the middle one) roared at her. She seemed to gasp for air from a breath she had been holding. She spun around and ran toward the other side of the valley. The creatures taling after her. They were quick and were catching up to her. She had to make it to the other side of the valley she ran as quickly as she possibly could. The creatures were catching up with her at her quickest pace.
She was almost to the small opening leading through to the Savannah of Fallen Dreams.
Her breath was becoming short and she started slowing down slightly before she hit the opening. She could hear the big pounds of the creatures behind her. She dared not look back at what followed her. She was about five feet from the small opening through the mountains to the Savannah. The creatures seriously on her tail. One had jumped and tried snatching her only hitting the ground, but sent her flying and tumbling just in front of the little entrance.
She turned her head as she laid face down in the dirt toward the opening. Two of the giant creatures stumbled over the one who hit the ground only leaving two more running after her. She struggled getting up being sore from impact on the ground. She looked at the creatures that making her adrenaline rush up and she quickly stood sore or not. She rant the two foot distance left into the small pathway.
The two creatures jumped getting stuck together in the opening, even if they tried to get in by themselves they wouldn't be able to go far. They were to big Yuki sat up against the wall looking at them. They growled snapping their teeth trying to reach her with useless effort. She sighed in relief she had made it. She rested up against the stone wall catching her breath before moving on.

Allora was still staring at the angel she had discovered in the Savannah of Fallen Dreams. She cautiously reached into his head with her manipulative powers; not wishing to alter his emotions, but instead to search his thoughts for his name. Finally, she picked it out. Manza, Allora thought repeatedly. Manza. Manza. Manza. I shall remember his name for eternity. She stopped searching his mind, as it was not the Goddess's will to eavesdrop on the private thoughts of others. Allora spread her wings and silently flew away, being careful not to reveal her true feelings for Manza. One day, I will confess my attraction. But not now. Chaos ravages the land. I must take responsibility and put an end to it. As Allora soared toward the mountains she heard menacing growls, as well as the panicked pounding of feet. Someone is in trouble, she thought. Allora swooped down and saw dark creatures in hot pursuit of a female werewolf. The werewolf hurried through an opening and rested safely in the Savannah of Broken Dreams, sore and winded from her narrow escape. These dark creatures are not natural. I shall do away with them. "Fire, I need you," she whispered, and she began to glow a faint shade of orange. "Extinguish these savage beasts." As she finished her sentence, fire shot from her hands and swirled around the dark creatures, closing in ever so slowly until they began to singe their fur and burn their feet. In a matter of seconds, they were engulfed in flames and incinerated, never again to walk the Earth. "Thank you fire," Allora said, the orange glow dissipating until it was no more. She then descended to the werewolf. "Are you all right?" she asked worriedly.

Manza looked behind him, seeing someone fly away. He wondered who it was, but was also interested in the hole she was flying to. Landing on the ground, the angel ran with incredible speed. Although the pollen swirled around him, and he created an unintentional trail in the field of grain, Manza continued to run. He stopped slowly towards the hole, seeing an angel and a werewolf. He moved forward, seeing the flames.

Saying nothing, the young angel moved under the levitating angel, gently moving a few branches out of the way. He smelled the burnt smell of wood and leaves, and knelt down on one knee. The ground was scorched, but it wasn't anything he couldn't fix. "Ease back in." he spoke softly to the ground, and drew in a long, steady breath. The smoke seemed to be drawn towards him, and the ground slowly regained its color. Manza closed his eyes, exhaling slowly. He was breathing out clean air, despite the smoked oxygen he had previously breathed in. "May you flourish for years to come." he spoke softly again, and traced a circle in the damp ground.

Yuki looked at the girl who had helped her and who had gotten rid of the shadows. She was surprised to find she was an angel. She nodded. "Yes I'm alright thank you for getting rid of those shadows too," She said standing finally. She had regained her legs and was able to stand. Her ears twitched hearing someone else come into the small pathway. She turned her her head in the direction of that person. "Who are you?" She asked turning her attention to the girl who just helped her out. She would like to know the name of the person who helped her out.

Manza got up from the ground, and rubbed his hands together to remove the dirt of the land from it. He held his hand out to Yuki, as he was sure it was a universal greeting gesture. "I'm Manza..." he said softly in his angelic voice. When he spoke, the wind seemed to blow a sweet breeze, and his hair blew softly. He looked over at the other girl, blinking a couple of times. "You must be Allora," he said and smiled generously. He had a dream where a decendent of the Goddess made herself visible to him. "There are not many of you left, are there?" he asked to Allora, not rudely but just inquiring.

Allora was surprised that Manza knew her name, but didn't show it on her face. "Yes, my name is Allora," she confirmed. "And sadly, yes, there aren't many of us left." She sighed. "Most people choose to believe in God instead of our Goddess. As you can imagine, since I am a child of the Goddess, I choose to follow her; but I am not opposed to God. I respect Him as well. But most of my people hated Him because He was not a part of our belief system. Thus, most of my people died and I left..." Allora trailed off, recalling the horror of the moment, angels dying left and right for no reason. "It's a miracle I'm still alive." She shuddered.

Manza looked at the other angel, and then back at the werewolve girl. "Are you in need of healing?" he asked, trying to be polite. He ran his hand over the grass again, making sure his spell worked. He was trying to keep the world from falling into the same chaos it had earlier. Manza had seen too many angels die, too many creatures injured and too much land destroyed. Looking out through the hole, he noticed a shadow wandering throughout the Savannah behind them. "I got this." he muttered and stepped around the two women. He crawled out from the entrance of the woods, and remained standing in the middle of the field. As he saw the shadow stumbling towards him, Manza slowly rose into the air. Holding his left arm in the air, his right one lay straight down against his side. "Look to the sky..." he spoke in an ominous tone. He looked above, into the easily darkening clouds. Holding his left arm in the air, he held out his right arm towards the wandering shadow. With a flick of his wrist, a lightning bolt shot out of his hand, anileating the shadow within the savannah. Manza lowered both his arms slowly, and sunk back towards the ground.

"No I'm alright, thank you though," She said. Yuki had only a few scratched and a few bruises that would appear in about a few hours nothing serious. She watched Manza as he walked behind her and the other girl. Another creature was still alive. She watched as Manza had quickly taken care of the shadow. "Thank you for helping out as well... those things I've only heard about them they are called Shadow Creatures from what I here they are creatures summoned from hell," She said stating the information she knew about them.

Manza nodded, as he walked back over to the small group. There was nothing else in sight, as he had looked out into the vast savannah. The gentle breeze ruffled his short brown hair, and Manza sighed. It was beginning to darken, and he knew very well that it was not a place to be at night. During dusk, the ability to depict a Shadow, was very hard. Naturally, they lived in dark places such as forests, and their powers grew within the night. Manza figured it was close to supper, and he looked over at the two girls. "Would you like to come to my hut?" he asked, starting to walk away. He held his hand high into the air, a bright aura eminating from it. He looked behind him, back at the two women. "That way, we are not stuck outside."
