The clan in which I previously resided was a dysfunctional one. That is because I was/am unconventional. At first glance, we did not appear to be a clan at all. The members were chosen from all races, creeds, and social strata. But our members, regardless of mortal standing, bore one disturbing commonality: We were are all quite mad. We all went insane shortly after the transformation ( if some were not insane to begin with ), and I've found that in this madness I tend to have great insight. Unfortunately, people just take it as senseless ramblings.
Accordingly, many of those like me find themselves ostracized by a vampiric society, fearful of their random urges and capricious whims. Wiser clans, however, prefer to keep the madmen ( or women ) close at hand:
Behind our lunatic cackling and feverish rantings lie smatterings of insight, even wisdom.
Unfortunately, members have started to resign, and it's become a bore. So I've come to see what curious things a clan of my own would have to offer!
In every coven, in every clan, there is an insane one.
That would be me.
Please treat me well!
