I'd like to have everyone's input and ideas on an overall plot for the shop.
If anyone has ideas for sub-plots, or has a plot for one of your dragons that you need rp partners for, you can mention that here as well.
Happy Plotting!

... no one has posted yet?
I think the history of the tea dragons could go a couple ways. One would be an ancient oriental proverb that spoke of eastern and western tea dragons, found in old cuneiform writings or something.... and we're supposed to find this out, and fulfill the prophecy...
one could be with magic, like some crazy tea farm or something goes awry?

Tracking down the origin of Tea-Dragons and how Uncle ended up with the mysterious shipment of tea in the first place might be a good way to start.
The dragons and owners could try to solve that mystery, in order to find out more about the dragons.
That'd also be an opening for a new type or stage of dragon to be added to the shop... if Kit is willing and able.

Ooo, a possible extra stage. O:
I can't imagine the dragons doing much 'trekking'. LOL. They seem to be reluctant to leave their cups. : P I'm sure we could coax them too though.
What happens if Uncle runs out of stock? After all, he wouldn't have bought a huge stock of tea and forgotten where he got it from... would he?

yeah I think looking for the original magickal tea shipment may be fun!
I own shops and know that extra stages are a s**t-ton of work. If you don't think you c an handle it, don't do it. It's awesome, but I did a RP like that, and still don't have the new lineart done... a year and a half later redface
so maybe breedings, items, familiars would be cool. Items seem the best option, IMHO.
I still am interested in how we find east and west. would they have started together? or would they be separate quests?

maybe a neat hat. I dunno. I tend to do custom items at my shop, and they're pretty easy to edit in.

@Rift & Miza I like the hats idea. How about toys or items like that they can play with that can be shown in a small square next to the tray or something?
I like the idea of an extra stage like "Elder Dragons" or something like that, but I also agree with Rift that if they are too much work, you shouldn't have to do it.
How about something like vision quests for the tea-dragons? Like something gets added to their tea that joins with the steam and off they go to find out bits and pieces of the tea-dragon's origins and/or get familiars. That way, every tea-dragon can participate if they want, you could have little extra incentives similar to the RP incentives (extra baby in the breedings, etc.).

@ Berri That sounds really cool ! (The vision quest thing) I didn't understand all of it but... still awesome. LOL.
I don't like the "shown in a small square next to the tray" idea much though. It doesn't seem to match with Tea-Dragon's look and theme. The idea is good, I mean I just don't like the presentation of it. (At least in my head it looks funny. x: )

I see what you mean, I just couldn't think of anything else at the time. They could be put in a small basket on the tray, too lol

Those are all great ideas! I think adding items is a great idea, but I'd more likely just place them on a corner of the tray.
I like the cert the size and shape it is, so It would be good if the items could fit into what we already have. Hats are a great solution.
Vision quests also sound like fun, but we'd have to find someone who knows more about them, like an npc, or a book about it.

Hmmm....
I have been in one meta-plot for the breedables shops. However, I have read some of the others.
How about doing something like a storm trapped people in the Tea shoppe and then do the vision quests through the storm?
