A new comer? Quinn's voice, slightly more relaxed, rang through Mira's mind, This place seems to be never ending with its mysteries. How do shall we proceed? These two seem, tense. Almost like there's some bad blood.

I sense the possiblity of them being siblings, but clear something went arry between these two. I think would be best if we reached the other two quickly. Can't you feel that on the wind? The intense heat? I feel enough about behind that blast that it would set this place aflame, with all the grass. I know this place works based on our minds and emotions, but I'd rather not have to conjure a typhoon to stop a field fire.

Agreed. Quinn didn't need to say any more. Without a word, he quietly turned and walked away, toward the cliff. Scanning the area, he located the other two, clearly having some kind of a match, and jumped, flying in their direction.

Mira, however, was slightly more polite in her exit, saying, "Welcome newcomer. It seems that the two of you have something that you need to resolve, so Quinn and I will be taking our leave. There are two more here that I would like to talk to, try to find out more about. If you need to speak with us, you're welcome to join us. Farewell!"

And without any hesitation at all, Mira ran straight at the same ledge that Quinn jumped from, and did the exact same. It wasn't long before she caught up to him mid flight, and the two of them approached Aron and Ector together.

Ector blasted himself back, propelled by a flame boost, and landed on the stones with a *click*.
Wait, when did these stones get here?
And as Aron and Ector stopped, they watched the stones slowly spread, and then build themselves up into walls, stopping in strange places as though building something brand new that has been around for millennia. The walls finished with crumbling holes and the ceiling formed with a whole corner missing.
The chamber of Yule? But it's old, far older than I remember...

A temple of some sort? Quinn thought open-endedly.

Although old, the building was still majestic in every right. Based on the stone textures and patterns on the exterior, one could easily tell that it was meant as a place of worship. The color of the stone, likely a white pearl marble of some sort, had faded in its age. The roof of the building was missing a chunk, likely from a battle of some sort that had occurred inside the temple.

It truly would be magnificent to see this building in its hayday. Mira thought to herself, not really meaning anything by it. But just as she had begun the thought, the building continued to reform. The sheen of the marble slowly resurfaced. The walls continued to build up. The hole in the roof filled, the arch closed, and the skylight resurfaced.

Land on the skylight. Quinn ordered. Immediately, the two dropped out of the sky and touched down gently on the skylight. The only noise was a slight clink against the glass as the two knelt down to watch the battle unfolding inside.

Intervene? Mira queried.

Let them play. It seems to be nothing more then a sparring match. If they would risk the temple a second time, we'll stop them.

Ector's face lit up as the temple fully realized itself.
"It looks like we're in My house now." Ector said with a smirk.
Aron, not understanding, replied with a straight face, "This is not a house, it appears to be a place of worship, a temple, church, or shine."
Ector's face fell, "No, what I mean is that I have the home field advantage."
Again misunderstanding the intent, Aron replies with a slightly confused look, "This is a building, we were in a field, but we are not longer."
Ector, now frustrated, adds "What I mean is that I used to live in this building, temple, church or shrine, and thus,
due to my familiarity with it, have an advantage in battle.
"
Understanding flashes across Aron's face as he replies
"I see, though why you didn't simply say that in the first place was rather perplexing. Shall we continue?"
----------------------------------------------------------
"You do not underztend, I could not remove my erm vithout eet killing me, but elzo, ze demon vould be free. vhile eet eez ztill bound to my flesh, end to my body, eet cennot ezcepe. Elzo eet eez bound by my vill. Zo you zee I hed no other choice"
Zante glared at him
"You could die, and take the demon with you."

Ector opened a case on his hip, where hundreds of small throwing needles were stored, then leapt backward. Planting his feet on the wall behind him he let his weight carry until his legs were fully bent, then leaned back and leapt upward into a high arc over Aron, throwing three needles. Aron adjusted the air about him, needing not to avoid the needles, but more to force them to avoid him. Ector landed on the wall behind Aron, bent, and then sprung forward fast and within three feet of Aron and let three more needles fly. The surprise of this pass and the close proximity gave Aron no time to react, and the three needles his the right side of his chest, each landing in one of three ribs, and being stopped by the bone. Ector then caught the ground with his other hand and righted himself to face Aron again, then let his feet fall and slid to a stop on the smooth floor. An odd shadow on the floor caught Ector's attention, and he looked up to see two people, impossible to identify with the light behind them. He smiled "It appears we've attracted an audience, or Referees perhaps. Point being, if they were to interfere, they'd have done so by now"

Aron winced as he attempted to remove one of the needles. It was into the bone a bit, but, after some effort he was able to remove it. It seemed he also wasn't hardly bleeding. He removed the second and third needles from the adjacent ribs, Again painful, and pain lingering, but not much blood.
"I am not quite sure I understand your aim. you could have caused great blood loss, or aimed for vital organs, yet you specifically hit only bones. Why?"
"To cause you pain. Everyone has a certain amount of pain they can stand, and since I'm not trying to kill you, I just have to cause you enough pain to submit."

"We've been seen. What do you think we should do?" Mira was hesitant. She wanted to crack the glass and fall into the chamber. She was curious to discuss with the two inside, and to find out what they knew.

Yes. We have been seen. For once, Quinn wasn't sure. Their options varied. They could enter the room and risk a conflict, or they could continue to simply witness the conflict. But if they simply observed, it could lead to conflict as well.

"Lets join the fray."

With one well aimed kick, heel first, the glass in the skylight was shattered. Mira and Quinn fell gracefully to the floor, and then quickly righted themselves. Out of habit a defensive stance was taken.

"Quinn and Mira Sindel." Quinn opened with the introductions. "We approached from the sky as the temple reformed. We meant to ask who you were and what you knew of this place."

Zante glanced back at his Chonometer as it suddenly lit up and printed out several sheets of readouts at once. He quickly ran over and leafed through them as suddenly there was a great rumbling sound. Not at all like an earthquake, in which only the ground moves, but instead everything moved and shook. Zante felt younger and older at the same time, He saw from his readings that one of the universes effecting the formation and maintenance of this place had shifted forward by over a year. He tried to yell out, but his words were distorted by the waves of temporal turbulence. His yell had reached the temple before all of this had transpired.
"Time Quake!"

A wave of change struck the world, altering those occupying it.

Energy surged throughout Zante's body, not painfully, but he could feel and manipulate the flow. Lines of gold light began to shine across his outfit, everything connected, and at his core, on his chest a large golden symbol blazed and connected to it all. He pointed his hand at the faraway landscape and focused his energy into his hand. A blast of golden light and energy shot forth and blew a huge crater out of the ground. Zante fell back with the shock and sheer force of it.

Ector heard the yell and then as everything shook, the temple grew mossy, then clean, holes appeared and again vanished, and he felt a tickle of inspiration touch the back of his mind. How he could have never thought of this before? It was brilliant.

Aron stood steadfast against the waves, but he could see them. Was this...time? Since when could he see time distortions. Usually only...He could see and manipulate the fabric. Ah, but where two parts make 1 whole, He had to draw it from somewhere, perhaps even the unseen potential of the two. The time flowed around him, in the same way that he moved the wind, he now moved time. Not as easily though, just enough that the waves split past him.
