So mates, seems this place is all about war. What I'm wondering is do you really have what is takes and if so what sort of fighter are you? Or perhaps what sort of fighter would you be? Feel free to analyze the question even from a non-ZOMG standpoint.
Are you a...
Knight full of chivalry and committed to that code of honor
Warrior fierce in general, and devastating in close combat
Ranger vanishing into the landscape and picking off your enemies before you resort to close combat
Or perhaps you are a wielder of different skills, perhaps you are a...
Healer battling the effects rather than the war itself but vital to the maintenance of the forces
Mage/Sorcerer or Sorceress able to control those mysterious forces of power, magic
I'm sure you get my drift and I'll add some more categories as we think of them and a poll.

I happen to love reading fantasy, dove into something new recently as soon as I got a minute to myself. The Ranger's Apprentice, exceptionally well written for something intend for young readers, very informatively descriptive.
And the descriptions of the Ranger's fighting style got me thinking I might make a decent Ranger. I haven't the height, bulk, or strength for close combat or heavy weapons, being a girl is beside the point. But I already have a dancer's background in agility, balance and most importantly endurance. Plus a little bit of quick, more like instinctive, thinking to resourcefully solve problems and the ability to notice things most people ignore. And I'm rather curious about nearly everything too. With training and practice the mastery of putting arrows wherever I please, and the use of various knives and daggers would come. Not to mention I'd love a pony that was smart and loyal, and could run a great war horse to the ground before it started to get warmed up. (not in speed you understand, distance)

Hrm, tough one. I generally try to pick them off one at a time if possible, lure them away from the rest of the herd with ranged attacks before resorting to close combat. I suppose that makes me a Ranger then sweatdrop

I'm a combination of warrior and healer. I hit hard, but to lose HP. For some reason, I am obsessive about keeping my HP high and solid. For Zomg, I like to draw some with shurikens or charge in with katana, dervish and hack. If I'm soloing, I have pot lid on for defense or divinity, but in crews I have defib. I heal myself with the use of a lot of bandage & diagnose.

The one thing I've noticed with ZOMG right now though is I'm impatient with it so I've taken a more berserker approach to some of those repeatable quests. But I think when one is almost at level ten one can do that readily.
I love to semi rapid fire off the bow at targets then jump on them with the katana or the twirly hack as soon as they're within reach. As for healing I occasionally get too caught up with attacking the enemies in front of me that I don't time my diagnose for the most advantageous moments.
And I have a not practically useful habit of toggling the enemies I'm focused on thus hitting a couple in random order. In a real fight that might be okay but in zomg they get back to attacking you right away even if they are literally about to die XP

Well... I'm a newbie at this whole zOMG game, so I haven't really figured out my fighting style. But if I were able to choose a fighting style or two, I'd choose ranger and healer. I LOVE to pick off enemies and give them a frustrating time, and even though this battle tactic is tedious it is crucial to keeping your health up to par and staying in the game longer, which is why I would want to be a ranger. Healing is very important in any video game ( e.g. pokemon, Kingom Hearts, Super Smash Bros.) because you again get to stay in the game for longer periods of time, possibly defeat the enemy, and it's vital if you are working in groups because if you are alone and facing the most hardest boss in a game and your comrades die, 8 times out of 10 you will surely die due to lack of teamwork. I'll be playing zOMG more to become a more experienced player though smile
