Guild Crewmembers:
Fumeiyo-Chan - The founder and Guild Captain.
Rockstar Raccoon, also known as Sherlawk Dragon - The trollish Vice-Captain.
L the Strawberry Lover - Head of the Furry Corner.
Fenrisa - Another female Moderator.
There may be others, but they are not active.
The rules are to be taken seriously and are posted for a reason.
First offense will result in a warning from crew, and may result in punishment.
Later offenses will have consequences, and may result in banning.
1. Be respectful of others. You don't have to agree with or even like someone, but you do have to be civil.
2. No flaming. If you have a problem with another member, tell them civilly. If the problem escalates with discussion, bring it up with the guild's crew. If you have a problem with a member of the crew (this will most likely be SHERLAWK, aka RockstarRaccoon), talk to them about it first, and then with another crewmember (like Fumeiyo, especially if it is Sherlawk) if that doesn't work for you.
3. Problems should be brought up to Fumeiyo-chan, Sherlawk (once again, RockstarRaccoon), or another crew member. (confidentiality can be expected) This can be done either directly in the form of a private message or worked out between the parties involved in a polite and respectful manner.
4. Open fighting among members will no longer be tolerated. See the first 2 rules. This is not acceptable and will get you banned and anyone who sides with you in trouble.
5. Take discussion seriously. This is a serious board. If there is a serious discussion going on, you can be lighthearted about it, but don't make a joke out of it.
6. Listen to what others have to say before you respond, and make useful responses based on merit and not simply to be mean. Once again, serious discussion, make constructive comments or bugger off.
7. Please try to stick to the discussion according to the title. A thread is meant to discuss that thread's topic. A forum is meant to discuss that forum's topic. Do not bring threads off on unrelated tangents and do not post threads in forums that they don't belong in. There is a General forum for General chatter, a Therianthropy Discussion forum for discussion on therianthropy, and a Furry forum for discussion of furries. Place threads accordingly.
*. Normal Gaia rules apply: keep it PG 13, nothing R rated.
The following guidelines should also be followed, as they are not only good advice for all guilds, but will make other members like you more.
1. Read through a few threads before posting to try and recognize who's who, what's what, and understand the atmosphere of the guild.
2. Post an introduction in the introductions thread before you jump into discussions so everyone knows who you are. Keep it to the introductions thread though, do not make a new thread.
3. Be active in the guild. These forums were created to enable Therians to meet and get to know each other. If you are not planning on being active in the guild, what was the point of joining?
4. YOU are not crew. (unless you actually are, in which case, you are not Fumeiyo, unless you are, in which case, congratulations!) Do not act like you are crew (or Fumeiyo), do not call out rules at every turn as if you hold some authority (or Fumeiyo's authority). This is annoying, and if crew members did it, they would be un-crew membered.
5. If you want to be a crew member, you have to earn it, and this usually means you won't have to ask to be promoted or convince Fumeiyo (or Sherlawk, in a horrible alternative universe) that you are 'worthy' of it. (Sherlawk is an exception to this rule, no one knows why he is crew, but he is, so deal with it.)
6. Nobody's word is law. Not even Sherlawk, as experienced as he is. You don't have to agree with anything anyone says. People agreeing with each other just because they sound right or look like a leader is what ruins good forums.
These rules regard administration and administrative action.
1. Administrative decisions may be appealed by contacting the administrators with a reasonable argument. This does not mean we will actually change our minds, only that our decisions are not final.
2. Do not heckle administrators. If you don't like an administrators decision, ask that it be appealed. If you still don't like it, that's too bad. Bothering administrators about their final decisions on something will get you banned, continuing after banning will get you reported.
3. Fumeiyo is thy lord and master. Do not question her authority. She can ban anyone, even Sherlawk.
4. Sherlawk is scarier. Sherlawk will not ban you, he will laugh at you, which seems a little less severe until he stops laughing to make fun of you, a fate worse than banning.
5. These rules might change as we see fit. We will post a notice in this thread if we change them, but you're supposed to read them (and they are pretty easy to guess), so if you don't know them, that's too bad.
Now that we've scared you, you should be fine as long as you at least try to follow these rules.
Rules written by Fumeiyo and Sherlawk.
'We' in this refers to the Crew members of the guild.
'You' here refers to yourself, as a member who should follow these rules to achieve happiness and sunshine for the win.
Special terms to be outlined:
Final - Done. End. No more discussion. Stop bothering us about it.
Banned - Gone. Kicked out. Stricken from the guild's records. You get banned, you do not come back until we say so. (if ever)
Too Bad - So sad. This is Final. If you have a problem with it then you live with the problem. Don't bother us about it.
Deal with it - This is your problem, and if you don't like it, that's too bad.
Annoying - This is something you should not be, it will make people dislike you, and that is bad. (unless Sherlawk finds it funny, then it is good) If crew members do not find it funny, you may be banned
