Anyways, I thought I might tell you guys how smash is going for me, anyone who might lurk here to see it. I've been playing smash regularily, recently getting a weekly smashfest going on. I play all 3 games competitively. Last tournament, I got 9th of 21 with some tough competition in melee singles (I main Samus, sub Sheik, Fox, and Zelda). Melee is my main focus, since it interests me the most, but I still play the others when I can.
Brawl is really strong in our area. A lot of tough competition for the top few in the area. I'm ranked 6th in the okanagan, my area, below a few tough competitiors. They haven't seen me play since Feb 09 though, today being the day I'll show them the power of my new skills (my wii actually can't read disks anymore, so this is the only way I can practice brawl). I use DK in brawl now, after a lot of switching about. During the time of our tournament here, it was ROB, and it switched to Dedede, a short while to Fox, and finally to DK. I'm pretty secure on DK now, being fun and good to play, a nice balance, while not insanely gay like ROB or Dedede. I've got a regional tournament next week, I'll post here to tell you how it goes. It is in all the smash games, and we even have some big boys coming down for it, which is quite awesome.
I use Fox/Pika/Kirby in SSB(tier hogging, I know. ): DK is the character I love using, but I suck a lot with if it's any consolation, and he's low tier.) incase anyone was wondering.
Gonna close it off here, get some Timmies (Tim Hortons, Canadian coffee shop) since I made the error of staying up too late before a smash day. Ah well, johns (excuses, smash word really) will be flying from my mouth if I lose. I just hope I can focus. I'm rambling now, but I did better in a two day tournament once when I came the second day hung over (it was away, and the people who were housing us had a big adult birthday party. Booze around, and I couldn't help myself. <.<)
