Well, sadly our guild has been pretty quiet for quite sometime, but hey why not make a post every now and again. :3
Every year 'round February is the time to feel nostalgic about the good times of Go Gaia. I remember when it was more like a community, especially before the marketplace came along. >.>; It's a nice feature, I suppose, but it becomes really impersonal. I accidentally listed my cloud for 16k, rather than 116k. This guy blocks non-friend pms and I sent him a trade with 70k asking for the cloud and he still won't be so kind as to let me have it back. >.< It's just kinda sad. I know there have always been people who simply don't care, but it seems like more of an epidemic these days. Same with Gaia, the evolving items are starting to bug me. My collecting nature wants them all, but I'm so poor. D:
Wow, this wasn't supposed to be a rant. xD Anyway, I just miss the intimacy of Go Gaia, when questing for a Ronin Yukata was like an epic undertaking rather than an allocation of funds. I'm guessing that's why many of you are no longer lurking around like you used to, but hey, come back some day! Have a chat! Some us are still trying to cling on for dear life. wink

Sadly Chort, I was never there for those days, though I do remember when Gaia was much smaller and we would whine about the sushi errors, rather than look back on them with love. I loved the bread and butter database, as well as the cake database, though I'm not sure who named them all after food - or why. eek
Gaia is so big and impersonal these days, I'm glad that I stick to my one thread most of the time and keep my friends close in the shop.
You're welsome to come visit me there anytime, Chort. heart
BTW, I remember as a newbie (new to about five months), I found 10k items amazingly expensive, and a pimpin' jacket was one of my favourite items, though sadly it was out of my reach for a long time. When I finally bought it, I realised what a darn ugly item it was, though I still have it in my inventory reminding me of when I was new.
My collecting hoarding nature wants me to buy all the MCs and EIs as well, though I know I can't afford them anymore, I'm nearly three months behind on MCs alone. sad

I like to remember the days where I was happy to sell 10 Angelic Sashes for 7k each, lol. xd I actually feel sorry that Gaia wasn't able to keep me active after all these years. Even zOMG wasn't able to keep me here for more than a month. But in the end, I keep on login regularly just to check what's going on (although I don't participate in anything). sweatdrop

*belated post* xD
Gaia has kept me active by being a great portal for chatting with friends I've made around the world.

Huzzah for the GEN! I don't really log in much these days, but I do like to take a look when there's an event to see what's going on. I thought today's "Sushi Error" was a hoot.
I also enjoy marveling at how how the random junk I accumulated back in the day is now super-expensive! 100k for an empty paper bag! Crazy! xd

I make a point of coming back to Gaia once in a while, if anything to see all the new stuff I won't understand how to use.
Isn't Gaia 10 years old now? Woah.

Noriko M. Chijinu I make a point of coming back to Gaia once in a while, if anything to see all the new stuff I won't understand how to use. Isn't Gaia 10 years old now? Woah. I know right? I just passed by my 10 year Gaiaversary and forgot about it. (Haven't even used that word in a LONG time!) I've started lurking recently on Gaia because I picked up Pokemon X and I thought it would be a good place to get contacts. ^^;;

Oh memories.
I hardly get on this site at all anymore. Its funny being 25 and bring this site up to friends still saying that I still go on just to see whats happening.
