I found this cute bento somewhere and had to buy it. I really want to make a vegan version of a traditional bento meal. But I have no idea where to begin.
If you're looking to make the bento cute, a lot of places have special tools you can buy. There are sticky rice molds, cutters to make facial features from nori, cutters to make veggies into little shapes, etc. You can really put anything in it. Some cut veggies with a vegan dip in one section, Fruit in another. You can get vegan cheese slices and cut them into shapes as well. If you google Bento Box Images, you'll find lots of great ideas.

Not everything on this site is vegan, but she does include a good number of vegan recipes

I second this website. They have two books, and the second one is supposed to have a number of vegan/vegetarian options in it. smile
Looking at youtube is also a fun way to get ideas.
