Cas grabbed Ree's hands and began spinning, lifting her sister into the air. Ree kicked out at the zombie's knocking them down in a wide circle before letting go of Cas. She flipped into the air, pulling out her dagger and landing in the center of a group, cutting down the living corpses around her. Cas pulled out her own dagger and ran to Ree. A large zombie stepped in her way and she plunged the blade into its soft gut. It sank with a digusting splorch and stuck. She tried to yank it out, but the zombie reached for her, wrapping it's putrid hands around her. "Ree!" Ree heard Cas's scream and whistled for Captain. He dived, clawing out the zombie's eyes and making it roar, dropping Cas as it tried to swing at the bird. Cas gave her trapped dagger a visious tug and it came free, along with the rotting guts. "Eeyuck!"

Roman gasped when he heard Raver's voice. She was trapped outside outside his shield! He should turn around quickly and make a hole so-
Oh, she's already inside.
Wait, what?!
Was his shield broken? Was it losing power? Did it only work on a certain number of foes? Or-
His panic subsided when his eyes fell to the amulet around her neck, recognizing it almost instantly. It, and variations, he assumed, had been spoken of throughout countless texts back in school. Some, he learned, had been created before shields had even been used in combat, let alone to protect treasures. It was as if the Thieves Guild had forseen it.
Guess there was only one thing to do.
"Hi back!"

Raver laughed at his response; he was just to cute. She reached up and touched his cheek with the back of her hand. "You're so cute when your confused. And excited, and worried and angry." She dropped her hand when Vieken landed nearby, in his largest form, just bigger than a two story building. He turned his golden brown eyes, big as windows, on Roman, glaring. Rave rolled her own pearly eyes. "Calm down, Vieken, he keeping me safe while your fighting." He huffed, then bounded off without a word, trampling zombies with loud squishing sounds. Rave smiled and shrugged. "He's so overprotective." She grabbed one of his hands, measuring it against her own petite hand. "Your hands are so big."

Roman chuckled as she compared the size of their hands, thinking of a joke. He wondered if she'd get it...
"Heh, you know what they say about big hands..."
His trivial little joke got to him, and his eyes trailed over to Vieken, whom had obviously heard him. He didn't exactly look happy. Roman straightened up, and scratched the back of his head.
"They're...umm...they're...better at...erm...holding...hands? Yeah! That's it! Definately better at holding...hands."
He said shakily, and kinda bluntly. He looked from Vieken back to Raver back to Vieken a few times, shifty-eyes style.

Rave snorted, clapping her hand over her mouth to keep from laughing to hard. Vieken growled, clearly not amused. Watch yourself, preist. Rave composed herself enough to remove her mouth to speak. "He says to watch yourself." She waved her companion off, trying very hard not laugh. "Go fight the undead. You almost got them all." He stayed put, keeping his eye on Roman. Rave turned her back and held Roman's hands. "Well I like holding your big hands." She smiled and winked, then placed her palm on his chest, feeling the thumps of his heart. "Big hands, big heart." Hopefully that would throw Vieken off.

Cas flicked zombie guts off her dagger, yelling at Rave and Roman. "It the two fo you are done making eyes at each other, there are still zombies attacking!" She stood back to back with Ree, both of them slashing at the undead. They paused when somethign crashed through the throng, landing at their feet. "Clidus?" The thief lord stood up, brushing a twitching hand off his shoulder. Tassel, clinging to the back of his boot, swiped at it. "Hi girls. Heard you needed some saving?" Cas rolled her eyes. "I'd rather be saved by the fox." This made Tassel puff up, trying to look fierce, and growl in her high pitched voice. Ree giggled. "Aw she's so cute."

Roman's heart thumped harder as she placed her hand on his chest, almost feeling like he had to catch his breath for a moment. He placed his hand on her cheek tenderly, moving to pull her into a kiss, getting caught up in her eyes.
But, of course, the shield flickered, and slowly faded out, leaving the two of them facing each other with a zombie horde seconds from being able to tear at them.
How annoying...
He managed to push out a laugh through his probably obvious blush, reinstating the ward spell he had placed on Raver with a quick slide backwards, making sure to leave a peck on the cheek before dashing into the croud.
"Catch ya later, slowpoke!" He said, ducking under a decayed hand and throwing himself into a dodging roll.

Rave's lips parted slightly as he leaned in close for a kiss, her eyes half closing. After all, what was more romantic than a kiss in a force field right in the middle of hordes of the undead? At least while the shield holds. Roman pulled away before their lips could touch, leaving her still for a split second before running off. She grinned and ran off after him, holding her scyth so that it cut through the zombies as she dodged through them. Vieken snorted, annoyed that Rave was letting herself fall for the priest. He ran in the opposite direction, stomping angrily on the corpses.
