Anthony deployed a few days ago. I'm doing okay. I got a phone call from him so that was a good thing. That was this morning after he got there. We were both pretty upset he was leaving but we used to be long distance so what's another 4 months compared to the 3 we used to do? I am SO kicking this deployments a**!!! scream Plus we'll have a lot of contact so that will help. I've also been keeping up with his mom. His dad is a Vietnam Vet so she knows what I'm going through. As do all of you lovely ladies. I can do this!!! blaugh

Stay strong mrgreen I remember how harsh deployments can be. It is good that you have a close relative to share the experience with. It is always worth it when they are back in your arms again heart

15+ month deployments are no picnic either. I'm just hoping that my husband's time in Iraq will only be a year as promised.
