** - BE RESPECTFUL!
If you don't like the way someone does their RolePlaying style you don't have to vote for them, or comment them on it. It is okay to make suggestions, but there are limits to even that. Just let it lay, and leave the person alone. No one is perfect, and that includes you. If I find one taunting comment about someone else's work you will be fined, if you not pay your fine to me, than you will be banned from the guild. Second time offenders will get a bigger fine and will not be allowed to post in the area they commented in for a week. Third time offenders with be banned on the spot.
**- Keep it Clean
I understand sexual themes, boy friend/girlfriend stuff. I do RP with these themes. I still keep it clean. I can not have broadly sexual things on it; you must keep it PG 13. You can imply something happened, just don't put it in detailed formate. Also, smoking is fine, drinking is okay, but keep drugs out of the roleplays as much as possible. You can, again, make the note something happened involving drugs, but don't actually give us any deep details of it in use.
*- Less important, but still important enough for a star, you MUST ask ME if you can make a new topic. I will ask simple questions, but its only because I don't want twenty-two vampire roleplays going at one time, and etc.
*- Notify me please when you post here. I like to keep track of the roleplays, and may even want to join. Also, notifying me allows me to add you to list for a possible victory and spot on the home page and cafe for Best RP of the week!
o1 - Follow the Gaian Rules
o2 - Things need to be kept clean. I posted above about it. If things go beyond PG 13 for sexual content take it somewhere else like PMs or an IMing system.
o3 - If a Gaian posts rules in their topic for their RolePlay, obey them as you would mine. [If you make a topic and post rules send me a copy, and if you have problems with someone just tell me about it {or another crew member} and we will handle it.]]
o4 - This is an all over rule for all the rolepalys. We do not allow one liners in the guild. This is a semi-literate guild, and because of this we need solid posts. The smallest reply you can have is five sentences.
o5 - If you like to use adult themed language it doesn't bother me. The only thing is, if there a rule posted in one the Roleplays that foul language is not allowed than you can not use it.
o6 - Below, if you have read the rules, post your SN [screen name] and the date you have these rules. You will not be allowed to post in any RPs in this forum until you do so.
o7 - Violence is often used in RolePlays, but not everyone likes a lot it. Respect other Gaians who might have a weak stomach, or post warning before depicting a vile scene containing gore. [Make sure gore/violence is allowed in the RP before using it.]]
o8 - Not all Gaians spell the best. I, for one, tend to make a lot of typos. If the spelling mistakes are just too bad tell the Gaian polity to check their spelling. There is no need to get nasty about it.
o9 - You can not randomly pop into a roleplay. You have to be accepted by the actual person who made the topic. When in, please do not use godmoding or power playing. They are against the rules.
o1o - No God moding or Power playing.
o11- Remember, this is a semi-literate guild. Post accordingly; meaning use paragraph formate with descent spelling and grammar use. For example, this is not acceptable:
john ran in he yelled hey you! than pulled out his gun and fired. he started screaming and didnt stop firing his gun
That would be a horrible post. A better way of writing that would be:
Damien silently crept into the room. His hand laid over the silver revolver that was laced to his belt; he had came here for a reason. The room was dark, but he could hear their faint voices. It happed in a matter of seconds. He tore the slender gun from its casing and unleashed several bullets into the darkness.
That is much better. [You don't have to be as detailed. =3 This is just how I post.]
o12- Using the rules and samples I've provided post a sample of how you would post with the information I've requested from rule six.
