Drago smilled and almost stuck his head into his bowl of ice-cream a litle to enthusiastic about it.
A litle while after a scream echoed from outside in the distance the sound of a women in distress Drago was asleep lying on Steels lap oblivious.

Steel jumped to his feet, catching Drago from falling to the floor.
"Did you hear that Kilin?"
Kilin nodded.
Steel handed Drago to her. "I'm going to go find out. I'll try to be back soon."
He buckled his blade around his waist, then crouched to all fours and ran out to find the screamer.

In the middle of a clearing some way into the forest a woman was crouched on the floor surrounded by Fire Demon. The woman seemed human wich was unusual for anyone this far into the forest. As the demons got closer again she screamed even louder.
Drago hadn't notice he was now on Kilin and remained asleep his body needing it badly after stopping the demons. Drago though had started to enter a nightmare and slowly began to turn and fidget his face full of fear.

Steel ran faster and saw the woman surrounded by demons. With a growl he surged foreword and leaped over them into the center. He roared so deep and loud that it echoed for a long time. He unsheathed his sword and wielded it.
"Back away." He growled. When they didn't he used his power to transform his sword to be sheathed in magical ice that wouldn't break or melt. "Back away or you have me to deal with."

Drago began to cry as he slept, something to him felt wrong and he curled up into a ball.
The woman looked up and seemed a litle scared of Steel but relaxed a litle when she noticed he was trying to help. The largest of the demons growled and jumped at Steel it's claw bursting into flame as it went to strike

Kilin curled up on the couch, holding Drago close. She didn't know what else to do.
Steel roared and ran the demon through with the sword. The ice ran into the demon's blood stream and it froze from the inside out. Steel yanked out his sword and the demon shattered. "Anyone else?" He growled.

The demons growled and turned before running
the woman without warning got up and hugged Steel "thank you" she said overjoyed "I didn't know what to do I thought they would kill me" she said holding steel tight. after a moment she stopped and steeped back "sorry" she said with a laugh "I'm Ember Thanks for saving me"
Drago screemed and woke up jumping up and falling of the couch hitting the ground hard, Drago stayed on the floor shaking, silent, afraid.

Steel jumped in surprise when she hugged him, then he relaxed and stood there awkwardly.
"Um..ahem...its all right. I am Steel."
Kilin jumped off the couch and curled around him, holding him close like she would her own cub. "Drago, its me, Kilin. Its all right, you're safe."

Embr smilled "would you be able to help me" she then said looking away "I'm lost, and it's getting dark" she looked at Steel hoping he would take her somewhere "Please, I don't have much but I'll give you this if you can" she said taking of a ring that had a few strange stones inside, she held it out so Steel could see
Drago felt something curl around him, he recognized something about it and calmed down, his eyes blurred from what he had seen in his dreams "where am I" Drago whimpered unsure whether he was still in the house or not

"I can take you to my cottage. I don't need anything from you, its all right."
With that he began walking slowly back to the cottage so she could keep up.
"You're still in the cottage, you just had a bad dream." Kilin said soothingly.

Ember smiled "your really nice" she said "thanks here I want you to have this, really, i'll feel bad otherwise after all your doing a lot for me" Ember took the ring and walked next to steel taking his hand and putting the ring in it, "so how far is this cottage of yours" Ember then asked curiously
Drago moved in closer against Killin "sorry" Drago whimpered "I can't see, my eyes are cloudy" he said like the child he now was "but was it really a dream?"

Steel took the ring. "Its not very far, just over this hill."
Kilin held him close. "Its all right. Why don't you tell me what you saw?"

"i must be nice to live here in the forest" Ember said skipping along next to Steel, Ember looked at the ring she had hoped Steel would have put it on, 'it would look nice' she thought and noticed the cottage in the distance "is that your place" she asked excitedly
Drago looked up, he could bearly make out Kilin's face, to him she was a dark blur which scared him, it was the first time he could remember not being able to see like this "I saw steel, a Demon had taken him and was taking his soul" he said " i tried to stop it, but.." drago looked at his wrists, "I was boound in chains, trapped there by Steel" Drago then began to weep again, unable to control his emotions, a problem he had everytime he became a child. Drago looked down, "i want ice cream" he said quietly, not wanting Kilin to hear his child side thinking everything would be better if he did.
