I thought it was an interesting question. Are there any voice actors or actresses that you feel don't get as much credit as they deserve?

For me its definitely David Matranga and Brina Palencia. While David doesn't have too much of a range, he's able to pull off this raw emotion better than a lot of other voice actors. And Brina? Maaaaaaaaaaan that girl has range! I'm actually not sure I've ever heard a voice actress do so many different distinct voices before.

Actually Brina's been in a surprising amount of things for being so new. Its nice to see that Funimation is actually taking advantage of her range though!

And really? I always thought Cynthia Martinez had a REALLY distinctive voice. surprised

Argh, i must have been REALLY sleepy when I typed that. I didn't mean to say distinctive, I meant to say she doesn't have the most range. Yo're right, she is very distinctive ^^

And oh, you're right, Brina has been in a lot, I just only watch a couple of the shows she's played in XD

I was hoping I'd come back here to find this guild more active. Oh well...

I remembered people talking about Brina Palencia in here, and I just watched Romeo x Juliet. Like all of it, in the past 1-2 days. And WOW! She's awesome as Juliet. The dub tones down the narm quite a bit, making the series a lot less of a mind screw.

Edit: It's now November 2012 and I'm poking through Gaia guilds to see if any of the ones I used to be in are still active... and I find that the last post from this one was me talking about Brina. Kind of interesting. lol she's now one of my favorite people ever.
