Why Don't You Just Have Another Beer Then?~" { Well, I obviously noticed that most members here are Cloti fans. I think that's because most of us here support Zeris as the canon, and not just as a cute fanon pair.
What do you guys think? Are you a Cloti? Should we tone the Cloti down in a Zeris based Guild? (If there is any prominent Cloti statements we go over-board with) }

I must say that my love for Cloti was the thing that drew me into Zerith at first, but after playing the game I come to love them for what they were!
I really think their interaction was so sweet and you can't say they were not in love! whoever say that it's just delusional.

Why Don't You Just Have Another Beer Then?~" { I didn't think too much of Zeris before Crisis Core. I mean, I thought they were just a cute fanon pair. Though, when CC started to roll along.. I saw clips and read some facts, and it started to grow on me. Then, when I played the actual game and read the Ultimania's, the pair really captured my heart. <3 }

 Zeris made me actually like Aeris. XD It gives her an excuse for her bitchiness to Tifa. I really did like her in Crisis Core, though I still can't say the same for in FFVII.
But, not gonna go into that.
Zeris doesn't really prove or disprove Cloti or Cleris. It's just what was there before. It all depends on if Aeris really moved on, and if she was really seeing Cloud instead of Zack when she looked at our spiky-headed chocobo hero. Which, going by the Gold Saucer scene where she bluntly states she wants to get to know the real Cloud, I'm saying not. But whatever.
Aeris could have really moved on from Zack and fallen for the true Cloud, in which case the true pairing would be based on Cloud's feelings alone, or she could have been clinging to the remnants of Zack that she saw in Cloud, in which case the entire thing is ******** up and based on delusions making Cleris not work entirely. :3
I'm not really sure where I'm going with this, but I think since this is a Zeris guild we should be allowed to talk about Cloti and Cleris when it is relevant to Zeris, but not go off and try to use Zeris as proof for either one.

I Know I Should Forget, But I Can't.~" { I absolutely disagree. =O Zeris can't disprove Cloti, true, because Zack and Aeris don't relate to that pairing... like, at all. However, it disproves Cleris to a great degree. If Aeris loves Zack, there is no Cleris. Even if Cloud loved Aeris, there is still no Cleris if her heart is still with Zack. And I don't like thinking of Zeris as 'just what was there before' I should make a topic about that. I think I will and just continue there. . . XDD
But yeah. I also agree with keeping a consistent relevancy. xP }

Well, I agree more with you. My point was that it depends on if you view Aeris as moving on from Zack after he passed on. I personally don't think she did, but most Cleris, and maybe even some Cloti would disagree with that. They may view Aeris as one who doesn't cling to the past, and doesn't love Zack as she once did.
But me myself personally, I believe that she only fell for the Zack that she saw in Cloud. :3

I Know I Should Forget, But I Can't.~" { Oh, okay. I know the other owner of the Cloti Guild happens to think that Aeris loved Cloud for Cloud, and moved on. Which is completely fine to think. Especially if you consider Maiden Canon. I just can't see it as Canon though. It contradicts everything, makes Aeris seem like a totally different person, wasn't written or supervised by Square, and isn't mentioned in the Compilation Timeline. :/
But erm, if it is canon I can't fully say that Aeris DIDN'T move on, but the way I took it was that she was confused. Not only that, but Maiden is rather on the Cloti side. X_X }

I hated Maiden! a bad novel so inconsistent with Final Fantasy VII plot.
I thought it was on the cloti side but I don't know about Zeris(with Aerith saying she love Cloud and all,despite not knowing him)
@Lunar: just realized that you like "Foundations"! I love Kate Nash one of my favorite singers of the moment.
