Elthia unfolded her wings of light and pushed herself off the ground. In just a few powerful strokes of her wings the Dragoness was soon beside the Dragon Lord.
She smiled at Celeborn with a big toothy grin.
"I wouldn't dare dream of not going."
And with that she sped off following the galloping herd of Equines.

As they approch the lake it was dusk, a light snow began to fall, and a light began to show in the distance beyond the towering pines that defended the lake.
"That must be Coia lake."
Celeborn started to decend into a clearing near the lake, touching down in the cool soft grasses that grew in the west. Slowly they made their way through the lush green brush to the wall of pine that separed forest and shore.
Celeborn took Elthia's hand and began to lead the way through the pines. The light grew brighter with every step until they made it through the trees.
Before them stood Coia, the Lake of Life, from which all life came forth.
Though it was now night, light radiated from the heart of the lake, the snow falling to its surface in the light were now stars falling from the heavens above. Mountains in the distance whispered of the untouched beauty that was before them.
So beautiful was this place, tears of sliver fell from Celeborns eyes. His hand reached over to grasp Elthia's hand gently.

Taking hold of Celeborn's hand Elthia could barely breath for the beauty before her was so overwhelming. Sparkling tears formed in the corners of her golden glowing eyes.
Around them the Equines approached through the forest each standing upon the waters edge like noble guardians of old. Their coats slowly became vibrant and rich in color as if being in the very presence of the Lake was reviving and nourishing them.

As Celeborn slowly entered the lake, his scales seemed to come to life, each began to shine a different shade of silver, each more brilliant than the last. The snow falling around him now shown like never before, every detail scene so clearly.
"This was our first home"
Celeborn began, slowly cupping water with one hand and loooking carefully into it.
"Where all of our kind came from, but the to save it, we left it behind. Our Sages forsaw the comming threat, the Slayer entering our world, and could not see a way to stay here, and protect the lake of life from harm at the same time.....so they left, and founded the Nest, far enough away from the Lake that the slayers would never run into in while at war with us, net not out of our reach."
Celeborn walked further in and his eyes became of silver flame. He turns around and extends his hand to his Golden companion.
"Come Elthia and live again."

High up upon a mountain cleft the golden Dragoness of Light lay peacefully watching the evening red sun sinking down out of sight. Her bright glowing eyes sparkled in the ever fading rays of sunlight. The mighty wings folded by her sides flexed and relaxed as a deep content breath entered and left through her nose.
Memories danced around in her mind as the first few stars began to make their appearance in the darkened sky above. It had been many days since her visit to Coia Lake with the Dragon Lord Celeborn. A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth as her thoughts went back to that night, when she entered the waters of the Lake. The remembrance of how she felt brought a soft glow to her golden scaled body. She could still hear the voice of Celeborn echoing in her mind deep and gentle.
“Come Elthia and live again.”
With one last heavy sigh Elthia drifted off into a blissful slumber with images of galloping noble equines leading her into a land of dreams.
