Karasu nodded, "Right. I forgot the maid part." She answered, "So what would be the next thing then, I mean I'll still be doing my maid duties. Like cleaning your room while you take a morning bath and makeing you your breakfast, also sweeping off porches, and..." She trailed off listing the many things she could do in her head.
"Then I'll also have to look for cob webs in the maiko's room."

Tora smiled and nodded. "In moderation," she said. "The maid's duties help you prepare for the duty of a Maiko."
Tora looked toward the Maiko room. "And, yes," she began, "there may be a lot of cobwebs," she added sheepishly. "With no one being here and all...."

Karasu nodded and took notice to the light that was starting to leak in through the closed shutters of the window. "Tora-senpai," She pointed to the window. "Should we go to bed?" Karasu yawned and rubbed her eyes.

"Oh, dear me!" Tora said, covering her mouth. She let out a slight giggle. "Tonight, you may sleep on a cot in my room," she added, standing up. "I have no engagements tomorrow, so we can both work on getting the Okiya back in shape," she smiled.
Tora began to place the dishes in the bucket on the counter to wash tomorrow. "Come," she smiled, and Tora lead Karasu upstairs. Getting an extra futon from the hall store room, she opened it and placed a fresh blanket and pillow on it. "There you go," she said.
Tora laid down and pulled the covers to her nose. "I'm so glad... to have some company now...," she smiled. She let out a happy sigh, then fell to sleep.

Karasu was quick to fall asleep, as she usually did. She stayed curled up in a tight ball.
When Karasu woke a few hours later she stood and tip-toed out to the hallway, when she was out and managed to close the door to Tora's room she leaned back and cracked her back. Then she remember that she left her luggage down stairs by the entrance door.
Walking down she paused at the bottom looking around the okiya, imagining what it must have looked like when the many other girls were there. What Karasu though she was going to see when she got there.
Finding her clunky black duffel bag right were she remembered leaving it she smiled walking over and picking it up. Inside were all of her usual clothing, Pajamas, and a few leo-tards along with other items to wear for dance.
Karasu picked out the first outfit and grabbed her toe-shoes, quickly entering the old maiko's room. Inside she changed and pulled on the black shoe. She then begun to stretch and then dance en pointe.

Upon entering the okiya, aki felt happiness mingled with melencholy well up inside her. It had been nearly a month or more now since she had set foot in this place she loved so dearly. "I wounder if anyone is still here" she said to herself as she took a quick look around the entrance. By the shoe count it would seem that at least two people were keeping the okiya alive. ::smiles to herself::
::enters into the kitchen:: "I will put a pot of tea on the fire and then take a look around. It is pretty early in the morning. I wonder if anyone will be up...." she thought to herself.
As she climbed the old familiar stairs to the rooms, she heard a small sound that was undistiguishable. "This is not familiar" she said in a small voice. Peeking into a room she saw a new person dancing and quite beautifully if she might add.
Not wanting to disturb the new comer, aki goes back down stairs to wait for everyone to come down in their own time. She fixes the tea with the water that is now boiling and takes a cup with her outside where she sits down and watches the rest of the mornings sunrise.

Yuri awoke from her sleep the cool fall wind blowing in through the window. She folded up her futons and it's accessories placing them in their proper place before sitting at her mirror combing out her hair looking over her face for remnants of sleep. after grooming herself she changed into a Kimono to wear around the Okiya bearing the reds, browns, yellows, and oranges of fall. On her way down the stair she stumbled a little but caught herself before she'd completely fallen down the stairs and hurt herself.
Yuri wandered into the kitchen and prepared breakfast for the house of grilled fish, rice, pickled daikon and nice miso soup filled with tofu, & green onions with a few mushrooms. She saw a pot of water boiling for tea so she knew someone had been in the kitchen a bit before.
She looked around really quick to see Aki-chan.
" Aki-chan would you wish to help me with breakfast? I'm sure Tora-sama and our newest addition would love a nice warm breakfast."

Karasu thought she heard something like the sounds of people moving about through the okiya. Her first instinct was to run and see who was there, but her point shoes prevented her from doing such. Peeking her head out she thought she saw the shape of some one and quickly removed her pointe shoes she walked out, her barefeet nearly cringing and the feeling of the icy wooden floors. "Hello?" She asked.

Hearing light footsteps, aki turns to see Karasu,
Ohayogozaimasu (good morning) ::smiles at Karasu::
I hope I didn't disturb you. I was just starting some tea would you like to have a cup with me?
::gesters to the kitchen:: It will warm you up ::giggles and starts walking towards the kitchen motioning Karasu to follow her::
[I would love to get this going again... its been so long and I didn't see any new postings till now.. so sorry for taking such a long break]
