A barren desert, floored mostly by dry soil, adorns every horizon. The land is devoid even of the beauty and distraction of dunes. Cacti are common however, and there is pokemon life in burrows and under rocks.

A small sigh came from Taro as his sky blue colour eyes scanned the horizon of sand dunes. "This is going to be a long walk" He thought to himself before walking a few feet from the entrance of Dryleaf town before looking back at it. Turning his head to face the sand dunes he just started to walk towards them. The though of staying at Dryleaf until he finds someone to travel with was making him. It sounded good but he was the type that likes to travel alone. "This sucks......" He said quietly, slowly climbing a small sand dune before stopping as he digging into his pocket. Pulling out a small device as he turns it on, it was a map as he started to see which way to go to.

shizu enters the sandy path and looks around. "wow there is like, nothing but sand everywhere. intense." she observes. she looks down at sunlight and smiles, "well lets do this!" she says and strats walking. not watching where she is going she runs into a man looking at a map."ah! sorry!" she cires. ((that would be you btw taro))

Taro looked back at this girl as he was a bit confused. "It's.....ok.." He said quietly before looking at the device as he saw a small route towards the next town as he looked at her for a second as he was thinking. "You going to the next town...?" He asked.

"yea." shizu says shyly. "are you headed there too?" she picks up sunlight who was about to wander off and hold her in her arms, hugging her. "i'm shizu by the way. um this is sunlight." she shifts the eevee in her arms when she says this.
