Boring.
Yet another boring day.
His fists curled up into balls as he took a deep breath and he clenched them, then exhaling, relaxed his fingers slowly. It annoyed him, it bothered him. He had nothing to do. Absolutely nothing at all.
Home was too quiet. Too peaceful. It was nice, but eh.
And he knew better than to try and disrupt it.
Sitting on a park bench, Mereneth glance idly at the people who passed by, honoring a few girls with a wink, and was rewarded with giggles and slight blushes. Nothing else he could do except for the occasional flirting.

And then one hand fell down on top of his head and someone evidently followed it. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen," Aurelius purred. "And you're still far behind, aren't you?" She removed her hand and rounded the other side of the bench. For a long moment, an almost interminably long moment, she was quiet, then she spoke up again:
"What, do you have no job?" Even sitting she looked at least an inch taller than Mereneth; the turtleneck and jeans she wore only emphasized that not only were her legs long, just about everything about her was long. Aurelius was ******** tall.

"At least I'm not a bamboo pole, my dear Aurelius." He replied sweetly, his tone tinged with slight sarcasm, a glint in his eye. Maybe things wouldn't be so boring today after all.
It was rather pathetic of him, wasn't it? He wondered idly. Thinking that life would be dull if he wasn't at loggerhead with the blond girl.
"I'm not as old as you." He remarked. "I'm not even sure what job I'd be good in anyway."

Her ash-blonde hair swung over one shoulder and she sat next to him; slowly lowered herself down to the bench he was on. She leaned her head onto his shoulder and idly brushed one hand through his hair, knotting her fingers in the red locks with a smile. Confident, perhaps overly so, that he couldn't do anything to hurt her, she lazily leaned her shoulders against the bench and arched her back, emphasizing her 'assets'. "Really it would seem that you are the pole, sweetie."
Oh, she'd really missed Mereneth. Aurelius's smile turned a little sharp. "You could always work for me," she said, not entirely joking. "It's not like I don't have the employment opportunities."
