So I am turning 22 this week and I always get though of as much younger.
I have tried several things including a different hair cut, wearing different more mature cloths and putting on make up everyday. I was so happy one day when I died my hair. I thought I looked so much older. I was carded for a rated R movie that day.
I know I should be greatful because when I get older I will enjoy looking young and all that but frankly it's annoying. I am kind of worried since I will be looking for professional jobs soon where looking young will be a mark against me.
Any suggestions?

I'm interested to see if anyone responds to this... I have the same problem. I'm 20 but people think I'm 15. :/

I'm not sure why, but short haircuts make a girl look 5 years older. Well groomed short hair is the key to looking older. Strange but it's kinda true. Long hair that is pulled back with no bangs adds to age too. One easier thing to change is clothing, usually go for solid colors that maybe have dashes of print.
That's all I can think of. I've always looked much older because of my face and height, I cute everything to look young. biggrin

I agree with Selfia Rayonette on the short haircut thing. Maybe neutral makeup like brown, gold, and tan eyeshadows. That could kinda help because older people are always going for neutrals. Good luck and I hope that helped a little!
