Here's my entry...a pathetic attempt at rhyming. Since it's so pathetic I was wondering if I could enter another. It wouldn't rhyme but would be better written. But if not that's okay *shrug*. Then again if I can't enter another poem I'll just use the topic I was thinking of to write a prose.

Wake early and see it rise
But don't despair
When life passes before your eyes
Hope may be leaving
Courage be ceasing
But don't lose hope
Keep on believing
Rivers will rise
Haters enter in
Forget about them
Dive into the deep end

I'm not that proud of this but I hope someone likes it
I really do better work if I don't rhyme but the first stanza came at me and it was incomplete alone so I just kept going.
