One moment of patience may ward off great disaster, one moment of impatience may ruin a whole life. Samayou's rush was sudden. It came fast and lethal, as he could see that the man had been biding his time to get in close and fast. Looked like his opponent's patience had ran out, an expected outcome that Chen had thought of. Because when you were getting beaten for too long, you either submitted and curled in a corner, or you fought back with unquenchable rage. No one liked a beating, after all. Chen's movement in that diagonal manner would save him from taking the full attack of the lunge. As he is moving to the left, his right arm would be getting bared down on by Samayou's arm. Naturally, Chen's right arm will move under and to the right to keep it from being grasped or pinned against his body, which would very much disable use of his baton. But no longer did he have to focus on using it. They were already in close quarters, and his opponent couldn't be fully dodged. And so his right arm would be extending to the right across the front of Samayou's body, gripping around the abdomen as his feet slide back, going into a sprawl to keep himself from being knocked down, and stopping Samayou's charge, placing them into a lock of sorts with his head to the right of Sam's abdomen and practically near the right armpit. His left hand presses itself against the right of his opponent's waist, arm bending to assist in stopping his opponent. Now that they were in this position, Chen knew what was about to come. Samayou's right arm was practically over his right shoulder at this point. There was a lot of options opened for attack by his opponent. Despite this disadvantageous position, he just hoped it all works out in the way he was thinking it would. Otherwise, this was going to be the end of the line for the Asian.

Done, it was simply done.
Chen had put himself basically up against Sam to keep him from being bull rushed over, this was good to stop himself from being railed like a dog against a car. However Chen had lowered his head so that it was practically at Sam’s armpit at his right side, all Sam did was move his right foot back a little, giving his right side an edge to drive his right elbow down and straight into the back of Chen’s neck if he could get it. Sam was aiming for the reset button, a soft spot at the base of the skull and with the amount of force Sam would easily K.O. or possibly kill Chen Because Sam was bigger then Chen he had room to move as he attacked with the single motion. His knees bending and feet getting ready to dig in if need be, Chen was small but he could still fight well for a small guy, Sam did not underestimate him and treated Chen like he was equal.
However Chen had a weapon and had no intention of fighting fists only, thus Sam would end this match here and now with a single shot. If his pointy elbow drove right into the spot he wanted it would literally drop Chen to the ground and out cold.

His elbow struck him where he was aiming, having an excruciating pain go through his head and neck. He knew it was going to come, some attack from that arm of his, so his body was tensed, ready to take the blow. It didn't help much at all, but it kept him from having his nerves shocked in surprised. It was the factor that was keeping him on his feet and from going out cold. "Painful...""Yet...I am still conscious..." "...Now!" Samayou didn't notice his plan, which was now about to come into play. Sweat forms across his forehead, the heat of the moment coming to his face as his right arm swings up, and has itself hook from underneath the right arm that struck down onto his head. Chen will be standing up from his sprawl as his arm goes up to have itself slip underneath Sam's right armpit as his head moves even more forward. Having the hand extend all the way to the back of Samayou's neck over the right shoulder. At the same time, his left hand grasps the handle of his opponent's combat knife, removing it from its holster swiftly. That weapon he had been keeping a note of since the start of the fight, but was now in his grasp. It was now in Chen's possession, the weapon that was going to decide this match. His left foot slides forward to place him basically facing Samayou's right side, perpendicular. And from there, he turns his body to the left, lifting up to perform a half nelson slam! "RAAAAAARGH!"
Two hundred and fifty pounds was quite a lot to lift up, especially with just one arm, but with the right body mechanics, he manages to send his opponent falling backwards. His left side would be the first to strike the ground, and only that side as Chen falls into a kneel onto his right knee as he brings Samayou down. The bigger they are, the harder they fall, they say. Chen will keep hold of his opponent's arm as he starts and ends the slam, having Sam struck onto his left shoulder. But the throw was so raw and fierce that Chen nearly felt his right shoulder dislocate. Had he not went down into a kneel with Sam, his arm would have been pulled from its socket right then and there. With his knee against Samayou's back, he would keep on his left side on the ground. But from this pain came salvation. The salvation known as victory. "Don't move," Chen's Asian voice says, the first sound of it since the start of this fight. "Don't move or you will die by your own knife."Chen made his point clear. Sam now had a choice. He could submit right now and avoid further bloodshed, or have his own knife be used fatally against him. His life was in his own hands now. Even if he could not pull off the Half Nelson, he would still speak these words, with the knife waiting behind Sam in a good grip. This was Bloodbath, a tournament where death was encouraged. But with Chen being the law enforcer he was in his public life, he had a tendency to give mercy to his enemies and opponents. He had managed to subdue his first opponent in this tournament by KO alone instead of killing him. It was part of the reason why he also did not bring any sharp weapons to this tournament, to show that he was more of the non fatal type. But this did not mean he wasn't capable of taking another's life.

Chen was fast and tactical but the move he tried to perform was such a long shot Sam had not even considered it on the list of counters, well that was not totally true, in fact Sam was still surprised Chen was standing for a simple tap to that pressure point at the base of the skull dazed even Sam, a full blown vertical elbow should kill a man!
250lbs of raw muscle driving down on the base of your skull, no proper breathing techniques could keep you standing after that and the very moment Sam made contact with his elbow he did not just stand there and do nothing. He would let not a soul touch his knife and once Chen started to lift his arm that was exactly what Sam knew he was going to do.
As soon as Sam made contact with his right elbow his left arm came in for the finishing touch! Sam was aggressive and wasted no time in as his right foot that had shifted early performed its move. With a dazed and weak target sprawled out in front of him Sam took the full blown advantage as his right leg swept back, turning him so he was not facing Chen but now angled so his right side was away from Chen. With Chen’s wrap around Sam’s waste it would disrupt Chen’s position be it stumbling or tripping or whatever Chen did to keep himself a float.
Sam wasted no time as his left arm had been ready and waiting and no more then a split second after the elbow attack Sam shifted, and exposed Chen’s head a little bit and with a twist of the hips Sam drove his left fist down like a meteor right into the same target, that Reset Button!
Sam's movement withdrew the right arm and even if Chen could reach to hook it Sam had thrown the left hook a split second after the elbow's contact, a one two combo using his Superior strenght to put Chen down face first into the metal floor.
{{Its an interrupt move, MY left fist hits you again even harder just before you start to lift your right arm, I mean if your still standing after an elbow to that point thewn damn kudos but you pyschicaly can;t take another blow that is even harder or you drop and I had this move thought up the second you sprawled. Its literally a one two combo, one right after the other. My right side shifts down to hit you, my left side rises of course, my elbow hits I shift weight by pulling my right side back and up as my left side and left fist come bearing right down on you before you can recover from the dizzyness or lift your right arm.}}

((But it's right after the elbow that Chen rises up, having his right arm move up to catch the right arm. He's sliding himself against Sam's right torso, and moving his head further past his body, so that left punch won't be able to reach his head, especially since Chen's sticking to his right. That way, his right side can't escape him. Sam moving his right foot back would just have Chen press into his body even more with the shift of weight, which is a nice set up for the half nelson. Since he's leaning against Sam for support, it's only natural he'll follow your character's body movement's and balance. I mean, you can still punch with your left fist, but it'll only have the target of a back to strike. It's basically like I'm performing a variant of a lariat.))
Samayou's movement of his right foot to move his right side away from Chen would have Chen stumble in the way his opponent's body was moving. Because he wanted to grasp that right arm that struck him so painfully, he would already be going into action to quickly acquire it, a move he himself had initially planned to do, much like Sam's one-two. That meant that Chen will take a shot to the back instead of his head, but a punch there was little priority to his main plan. Samayou didn't think he went into this specific position without planning ahead, did he? After all, it was his original plan to secure Samayou's knife, which he did with his left hand set just above its handle. It was the other reason why he had his left hand press against Samayou's right waist during the sprawl, so that he can be positioned to take it swiftly.
Since they were pretty much stumbling at this point, with Sam moving and Chen pushing, Chen would bring the arm into a half nelson, turn, and send his large foe hitting to the ground in roughness that came from the assistance of both gravity and his strength, the sound of metal ringing in their ears as his body struck the metal plating. Once he would slam his opponent onto the ground, right arm still locked, Sam's left side touching the ground while his back was vertical and leaning against Chen's right knee, the Asian would speak those words.
"Don't move or you will die by your own knife."

{(Just noting, the knife is a Kabar, you can't just take it out of the seeth it has to be removed a certain way. If you don;t pull it out properly it stays locked in.
God I hate these grappling moves.}}
Sam's punch hit nothing but back and that is when he felt himself being lifted up. He knew what was coming and that is when he felt something tugging on his hip, THAT b*****d! He was trying to steal Sam's knife, that little son of a b***h was now a dead man. Sam had refused to use it and now this guy was trying to kill him with it, fine then all former rules and agreements had gone out the window now.
Sam prepared himself as he came slamming down on his left side, his mouth mumbling a grunt as he heard the Asian say something about don't move or die? Sam had tucked his legs in the fall so that his right leg was close to his body and before he moved he screamed one single phrase in ******** that!"
His right hand already reaching up and grasped Chen as Sam pushed as hard as he could to roll onto his stomach, his hand reaching and grasping shirt collar as Sam pulled with his left arm, pulling on the smaller man so that Sam rolled to his stomach and send Chen over him in a tumble! Go ahead, stab me you little p***k, that was all Sam was thinking as he refuse to submit!
Sam put everything into the roll, his right legtucked in and struggling, his left arm pulling against the ground, yanking Chen over him, using the metal grating to get a foothold, weight and whatever he could do to cause a struggle.
He would die before he would submit, that was his LAW!

((Yeah, I know those type of sheaths. Otherwise, whenever someone did a flip or tilted over, they'll risk the knife falling out.
I also do not like grappling much, so I'll keep it simple and straightforward.))
Chen's experience with using these type of knives had him understand the simple mechanics behind removing one from its sheath, so it wasn't hard to remove it as he performs the half nelson. With Sam now on the ground, he heard him yell his profanity, knowing that he was now going into desperate measures to keep him from becoming the victim of his own knife. That meant that he did not want to submit, which left Chen with only one option.
With his right arm now gripping Sam's arm, having it extended past the right of his head, Sam's grasping would have his hand grasp the right shoulder. People had a tendency of always grabbing for some cloth to help in pulling. It was one of the reasons Chen brought silk to his fights in Bloodbath, to put people off in trying to find something firm to grasp. Since his shirt was pretty tight to his body, in addition to the material it was made of, Sam could hardly get a grip. In reaction, Chen turns his right shoulder a bit to the left so that could twist the arm and place tension on Sam's right shoulder to relieve strength from the arm. A simple arm lock, where struggling will just make things worse, even for a man his size and power.
Though Sam tries to roll on his back, he would feel Chen's right knee pressed into it even more, since this was how he fell after all. Because of this simple position, he wouldn't be able to pull Chen over him, keeping their position mainly unchanging. So with Sam's struggle came an actual lock of his right arm by Chen's own right, his left hand keeping hold of the knife as he knelt there. He could go ahead and end it now, but instead he would wait for Sam to speak those words that will save his life.
For the time being, he had a knife and a submission on his right arm to worry about, Chen's teeth gritting a bit, veins showing on his exposed right arm to show the strength he was using to keep his opponent down. Once an opponent was on the ground, they lost a significant amount of their strength, which was why at this point, Chen was particularly at advantage in terms of this attribute.
And so the submission process begins.

{{Disregard previous post editations, man I hate submission.}} Sam struggled further, ignoring any pain he felt, he did not give a s**t he refused to be put down like a dog! He foguth Chen every second of the way untill he finally got what he wanted, his left fingers digging at the metal grating as he pulled as hard as he could away from Chen, lifting his legs in and twisting and then kicking. His struggle was to gain some distance so his back could actually turn down, then have his legs kick against Chen in anyway he could to kick himself away from Chen, Sam new this would bring strain on his right arm but he was ignoring it. He would sustain any injury if it meant he walked away from this fight but he would die before he gave up.
"Mother."
No not short for ******** simply just Mother, saying that word reminded him of her and that gave him the fierce anger to push with everything he had. Pulling his right arm down as hard as he could while his left arm pulled him away from Chen and his legs kept struggling and pushing against Chen or ground, whatever they could find. Fighting every and any way he could, Sam had so far suffered no major injufry but Chen had taken a full skull blow, Sam was stronger, even on the ground, he could do this!

Pride. A strong emotion, and dignity no fighter ever wanted to give up. It was one of the reasons why Chen did not want to end this man's life rightaway. He seemed to have a purpose that was not yet fulfilled. To kill him now would be... But, there was that other option. This was Bloodbath. Everyone were here with the will to do anything to advance, even killing. That meant that Samayou here was also here to take his opponent's lives. Having this knife was proof of that. So why? Why should he even give this man mercy and let him live? If he got one chance, his opponent could overpower him and bring death raining down on him. The conscience was sickening. As Samayou struggled, Chen kept a hold on the arm. He was kneeling against Sam's back, so as far as his legs reaching him, that was a lost cause. He couldn't turn on his back to have them bend toward his stomach and hit him, nor could he turn on his stomach to get enough of a position to do some sort of unorthodox back kick. So at this point, it was mainly a struggling game. The right arm remained in the armlock, the seconds continuing to go as more pressure continues to build on his shoulder. 1/3Quote: In the case of submissions, you have three posts/attempts to break out of a submission before you are choked out or have your limbs dislocated/hyperextended/broken.

Desperate times called for Desperate measures!
Sam was struggling for a reason as his legs crunched up tight next to him, his arm pulling on the grate of the metal as his left leg pushed below him, his head tucking down as instead of rolling onto his direct back he shifted so his body would roll him onto his upper back, right below his neck! His right leg swinging up for one thrust to force his body to flip onto his upper back!
Struggling would grant him the room to shift slightly forward, then swing his legs towards him, curling his body tight into a ball as he now rolled onto the top, at the same time he did the only thing he thought that would aid his arm. He clenched his fist tight as he cranked his right arm clock wise, forcing his palm to face up as he pulled in his arm to curl it. His struggling and twisting would hopefully grant him some leeway and with that inch he could muster to win, his body sprang into action.
Chen was just holding Sam in an arm bar with his knee against Sam’s back, nothing was holding him down as he rolled to his upper back, almost the back of his neck, stabilizing himself with the left arm and swung his legs up so that he tucked into a ball. By curling into a ball and managing to roll onto his upper back and neck he could now turn his body with that swing of his legs to actually have his feet face Chen and of course his feet then both lashed out violently! Kicking and pushing at any part of the body they could find!
{{I know the three post system, submission sucks like that. XD I looked over some research though, my original elbow attack, I hit directly at the base of your skull were you neck connects to your head. That with enough force can kill a man, the way I did it should have given me a K.O.? Nevermind it though no point it arguing that now.}}

Samayou raising his legs like he did would naturally cause his arm to basically hurt even more, more dislocating tension coming to the shoulder as he rolled himself up onto the back of his head and neck. Any limb that was in a lock was vulnerable to further injury and faster pain by struggling it, so the more Samayou moved, the more he was twisting his arm. His opponent was going for some kind of counter, obviously, and Chen could only wonder what.
Yet, it was basically just Sam placing himself upside down. He couldn't really turn his body to face his feet toward Chen because Chen still was keeping that hold and position, Sam on his left shoulder. The most he could do was move his lower body and balance on the left back of his head and upper back, but Chen was just too close to him to allow any effective twisting and turning. He was positioned at Sam's upper body and nowhere near the lower body to make it possible to try what he was going for. When Sam's legs go up to curl to his body, he would find them swinging right back down as Chen kept him from moving with the arm lock continuing.
"I don't want to do this," he says to Samayou. "I am giving you one more chance to submit right now!"
Was this brutal tournament really worth dying over, Chen thought.

"Animals don't submit...."
SNAP!
Sam knew his legs would be pushed back down and as they did he would twist his shoulder away from Chen, ripping his own arm out of its socket!
His grunt was all his strength covering up how much he wanted to scream from the pain, containing how he felt as best he could. He would do anything to be free, he would never allow himself to be caged or cornered!
His left arm now pulling against the grate as his feet kicked him away from Chen, his right arm dangling pointless behind him as he tried to free himself and get to his feet. He could fight well on the ground but the position he had been in was to tight for him to do anything but wiggle for freedom and hope.
If Chen wanted to win so bad the knife was in his hand, did he have what it took? Could he kill a man who had promised not to even use that weapon during the fight, even in a no rules match Sam held true to his word.
He would however be getting it back as soon as he could, it was his knife after all.

The man dislocated his own arm just to show to Chen that the only way that he could even do anything was if he killed him right here and now. Sam was prideful of his endurance, so he knew if it was just a brutal contest of fists, then he would have a chance to win. That was what he was thinking most likely. And Chen knew this. He knew that if he wanted to seal this victory right now, he would have to use that knife. So, he grips tightly onto the handle of it.... STAB! He lodges the kabar knife straight through Samayou's back, having it slide between one of the segments that make up his spinal cord near the center of the back, severing through flesh, nerve and cartilage. The result would be an excruciating pain like no other, blood spilling from the wound. But most of all, the sheer shock of the pain would have the feeling in his legs and arms start to fade away, paralysis coming due to the damage of such a major nerve system. And possibly unconsciousness if his brain and body could not handle the great effect of this attack. If he couldn't kill him, he would at least disable him. He was not going to take this man's life for the sake of a tournament. But he didn't want to lose just yet, either. He may seem weak to Samayou's eyes, but his will to keep himself from taking another's life for things such as money and greed showed he was morally and conscientiously stronger. If Sam was an animal, then Chen was a man.
